Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryana Clover.
Hi Bryana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I spent over a decade in corporate America before I became a healer and business owner. I moved through healing spaces for years that talked a lot about love and awakening, but rarely talked about race, power, or the actual lived realities of the people in the room. As a biracial Black woman doing my own decolonization of faith, spirituality, and identity, I kept running into the same question: what does it mean to hold space that’s not just transformational, but actually just?
That question is what pulled me out of corporate and into this work — at the intersection of faith and spirituality; justice; and healing — full-time. I got my Master’s Certificate in Anti-Racism and Urban Education, trained as an 8th-generation Reiki Sensei in the Usui lineage, and started building the container for what justice-rooted leadership could look like in practice.
Today that’s grown into a few different businesses. I run Bryana Clover LLC, where I do decolonial business design and coaching with practitioners who are ready to evolve the structures holding their work. I’m the steward of ALCHEMY Holistic Collective, a nervous-system-focused healing space that’s radically inclusive and neurodivergent-affirming — that piece is personal too, since I’m parenting a child with PDA. And I own a small retail business, where my mom and sister and I create ritual tools, hand-crafted jewelry, candles, and more. At it’s core, Clover Joy Sacred Provisions is a retail retreat for the spiritually curious and those wishing to experience healing, peace, love and belonging.
Navigating multiple businesses at once has meant learning to hold structure and spirit at the same time — the systems side (contracts, offers, funnels, the practical bones of a business) and the soul side (ancestral wisdom, somatic truth, ritual). Those two things aren’t in conflict for me. Field integrity is business integrity.
So that’s the throughline: corporate gave me the systems literacy. Decolonization gave me the questions. And everything since has been building spaces of transformation and truth.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Phew! It has been a bumpy ride with many highs and lows along the way.
Six years ago, I was on a trajectory of multiple six figures in the corporate world. I left with not much of a plan. But I was clear what I didn’t want — I knew toxic burnout wasn’t worth the paycheck, and I knew I couldn’t keep pouring myself into a system I no longer believed in. So I walked away and started building, one step at a time, without a map.
It’s been a real roller coaster since — plenty of highs, plenty of lows. Right now, I’m in one of the fuller seasons: raising a 7-year-old PDA sonshine (no handbook included), running a wellness studio and an online business at the same time, and doing it all while keeping our household afloat. It’s a lot. It’s also exactly the kind of full, real life that shapes the medicine I bring to this work. I couldn’t do it without a dedicated partner, my spouse, and a family who always shows up for one another.
One thing I am learning to trust is that the struggle was never a sign I got it wrong. It’s the honest cost of building something new, something that didn’t exist for me to just step into. Every offer I create, every space I hold, comes from someone who is actually living what she teaches.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At the core of everything I do is one thing: right-relationship, delivered through witness and truth-telling. Healing, for the people I work with, happens through being truly witnessed and told the truth.
Through Bryana Clover LLC, I work with established spiritual practitioners and healers — people who’ve already built thriving, soul-led businesses — and I guide them in evolving their leadership through decolonial practice, embodied integrity, and ancient wisdom. Together we unravel the colonial conditioning that lives in both the psyche and the body, reconnect with ancient wisdom traditions like Egyptian archetypes and Earth-based elements, and even explore emerging technology like AI through a sacred lens. I built a framework called the Pyramid Pathways of decolonial leadership to hold this work, and the result is practitioners who stop shrinking, stop fearing backlash, and rise fully as the powerful healers and ethical leaders they already are.
Through ALCHEMY Holistic Collective, I steward a radically inclusive sanctuary for nervous system healing — community-based healing, somatic restoration, grief work, ritual space, in-person nervous system support, and conscious horsemanship. We bridge ancient modalities like Reiki, sound, and breathwork with modern tools like microcurrent neurofeedback, meeting the body where it actually lives — in trauma, in neurodivergence, in the daily reality of a world not built for every nervous system. As a woman of color who found her way from the church to a decolonized spirituality, an 8th-generation Reiki Sensei, and a mother raising a neurodivergent child, I hold space that bridges faith and science, Western medicine and ancestral healing — refusing the false choice between them.
What I’m most proud of is probably this: I’ve never let the healing industry’s obsession with love-and-light aesthetics talk me out of naming what’s actually true — race, power, money, the real conditions people are living inside. I think of myself as a shadow doula. I serve as witness to people’s remembering, including the parts of themselves and their history that most spaces ask them to leave at the door.
What sets me apart is that I don’t separate the spiritual from the material, or the ancestral from the modern. I’ll hold sacred space and talk business strategy in the same breath. I’ll bring in Egyptian archetypes and AI ethics in the same framework. I refuse the false choice between being fully human and fully divine — I think that’s actually one whole truth, not a contradiction. People are drawn to that because truth-telling feels like freedom, and freedom is something their own souls are already asking for.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
My biggest piece of advice: don’t look for one mentor to hold your whole journey. Look for the right mentor for the chapter you’re actually in.
Your business and your medicine are going to evolve, and that’s not a sign something is wrong with you. The mentor who helped you find your voice in year one is not necessarily the mentor who can support you through building a team, or navigating burnout, or figuring out how technology fits into your work ethically. Each chapter asks something different of you, so it makes sense that each chapter might ask for different support, too. I’ve had to let go of relationships that served me beautifully at one point, simply because I’d grown past what they could hold.
The other thing I’ve learned: a real mentor doesn’t tell you what to do. If someone is handing you a formula and expecting you to follow it exactly, that’s not mentorship. What I look for instead is someone who fully sees me — who can witness where I am, ask the right questions, and help me remember the wisdom and skills that are already inside me. The best mentors I’ve had didn’t hand me answers. They helped me hear my own.
