Today we’d like to introduce you to Bridget McNew.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve loved photography since I was a little girl. Whether it’s taking pictures of family, friends, scenery or wildlife, it’s always been a passion of mine. I started out just taking pictures for myself or family, then I upgraded my camera, made a photography page on Facebook, started selling my prints, and doing craft sales.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not always a smooth road but doing what I love makes it worth it. Learning the different settings, having the confidence to show off my work, and just sticking with it when it doesn’t turn out how I thought it would.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a photographer, specializing in wildlife photography, but love photographing pretty much everything. I am most proud of me steeping out of my comfort zone to get my work out there, starting to photograph people.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Just being able to do what I love daily
