Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Moore.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story is a long one. But I’ll start with the most recent parts. From 2018-2021 I was in a very abusive, narcissistic relationship. By the grace of God I got out and quickly began to recover. During that time I was isolated from friends and family, I lost my job and all my financial resources and was struggling with mental and physical health problems as a result of the abuse. I went from being on government assistance to working full time for my state government. I became certified as a Christian life coach in 2024 so I could help other women overcome obstacles and heal from narcissistic abuse. I share my testimony on stages, on social media and personally to show others that no matter what you’ve been through, you can not only survive but thrive again!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have struggled in every way possible from childhood through adulthood. I was a Navy brat and moved around as a child. My parents divorced when I was 7 and that was extremely devastating. I have had many ups and downs but the worst and most recent is when I went through narcissistic abuse. My therapist is the one who explained what happened in the relationship and that was the start of my journey to healing and becoming whole again. It was extremely difficult to start over and get up after being metaphorically beat down by that situation. But God is good and I owe everything to Him!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am most proud of my work as a Christian content creator, Certified Christian life coach, advocate for women and abuse victims, speaker and I’m also and aspiring author. I do a lot of work in my community from serving at my local church to volunteering at shelters and so on. I am very passionate about spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and spreading hope to others who may be in a dark situation. I am most known for my testimony of overcoming narcissistic abuse.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I really have a heart for people who have struggled with homelessness because I actually ended up on the street for a brief moment while I was in the narcissistic relationship. I lost almost everything and had to rebuild my life from scratch. I don’t look like what I’ve been through at all!
