Today we’d like to introduce you to Ania Sari.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Everything started in my small town of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. I had been singing, competing, and performing in the Grosse Pointe show choir, the a cappella group, and as a soloist until the age of 14, when I moved to California. I didn’t move to California with the intention of pursuing a music career, but I definitely came to realize that music would be the only career I truly want to pursue.
With no idea of where or how to start. I took advantage of opportunities from different mentorship programs, networking, events, and more. Slowly, doors began to open. Eventually, I found my way to releasing my first single Crypto Mind.
It took me releasing my first song to see how much effort it takes to release what in my eyes, is quality music. I didn’t have a full plan in place to continue consistently making music and pursuing my career. Although it seemed like it would be easy to make music while trying to also sustain a life in LA as a single mother, it was harder than I thought to also sustain investing into my dreams. After taking time to make the necessary changes in order to create the life, I want as a mother and a musician. I am finally releasing my single “You Got It” for the world to hear.
Life has taken plenty of unexpected plot twists. Never did. I think I would call anywhere outside of Michigan and California home, but currently, I am residing in Dallas, Texas for the year to work on other business ventures and stay more focused in the process. It’s all a part of God’s plan and my eyes. Amidst the challenges, I’m grateful to be able to pursue my passion while also working towards other goals for attaining wealth and financial freedom.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has definitely been far from smooth, but I have continued to persist. One of the hardest things was having a child during the peak of Covid. It definitely wasn’t a part of the plan. I love being a mother! Outside of music, that is a passion that I am happy I get to live out. With everything I wish to accomplish in life, being a parent definitely causes me to address other matters such as financial stability, work, life, balance, and self-care. There are definitely still hiccups in finding a balance to it all, but there is always something to be happy and grateful for.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Outside of music, I am an investor. I started investing at the age of 18, mostly in Cryptocurrency and The Foreign Exchange market. I grew to love the thought of my money working for me and decided to continue growing assets. I have definitely had my ups and downs with him by staying, and it really helped when it came to getting my feet back off the ground after Covid. I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without the skill and knowledge of being able to invest and grow my money!
Now, I am growing my portfolio. I not only want to invest in digital assets, but I want to expand into more physical assets such as land and properties. My first song in Crypto Mind was inspired by investing, and that is definitely another business area I want to continue to grow in.
In the time between my two releases, I have been featured in one competitive singing TV show called Party Tyme for karaoke! I also auditioned for a new competitive singing show called the total package! I’m waiting for plenty of things to finally be released and aired as it pertains to the shows I was blessed to be a part of. In the meantime, I am also hoping that I am chosen to be a part of the cast for the total package! I would love to finally have a chance to showcase my talents on national television. I am looking forward to all the other opportunities that come my way.
Between smart investments and a sustainable music career, I am very proud of discovering ways to make these big dreams and goals attainable for myself. I am proud to have released two songs and be working towards even more.
I am in the process of finishing an EP and already have an album in mind. I do want to start on a real estate portfolio along with other investments that I am planning on making this year. I can’t wait to have more to show for all my hard work!
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I would definitely reach out to authority figures, you know! That helps me find mentorship opportunities. Otherwise, there are many opportunities out there, and Google is the best way to find a majority of them. Personally, I can vouch for Apple Creative Studios Mentorship Program, Creative Futures Mentorship Program, and Soho House Mentorship Program. Those were the three that I believe really created huge progress and headway for me to even truly see a start in my career and making music.
