We’re looking forward to introducing you to Mykaila Boyd. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Mykaila, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
What’s most important to me is intergity

It’s important because it builds trust, fosters strong relationships, leads to ethical decision-making, enhances personal reputation and self-respect, and creates a positive foundation in personal, professional, and community settings. Living with integrity provides a moral compass and inner peace, guiding people to act responsibly and contribute positively to society

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, my name is Chef Mykaila. I am the owner and the CEO of sizzling salads. What makes me interesting special and unique is all salads are handmade with love and from scratch and all dressings are made from scratch. I am a 31 year-old culinary graduate and baking pastry graduate From Dorsey college

I am working to make and build a successful brand to help people eat healthy, and try new things. The story behind Sizzlin SaladZ is a motivational thing of all the things that I have been through. I came up with Sizzlin SaladZ after all the challenges that I had overcame in life sizzling SaladZ is not only to sizzle anything you may want to eat and taste, but it’s sizzlin because Anything that is meant to destroy it can be burnt down if you put your mind to it

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
The people who saw me before I could see myself was my CHEFS . I never understood why they were on me the way they were on me. I always thought I was always the one getting picked on and it was always me that was whatever but it was for the betterment of my career. They seen that I was as powerful as I was before I knew my powers.
I’m glad they mowed me and taught me and stayed on me the way that they did because it made me the successful chef and it helped me get into opportunities that I never thought I could get into

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I can say one thing about my younger self, it would be I was always determined and I was the kid that always wanted to do something. I didn’t take no for an answer. My mom always told me I could do anything. I put my mind to and through Christ, I’ll have the strength.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version is the real me. I am a young chef, eager, too be successful with my brand and to also touch the taste buds of the world and bring great salads and dressings.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What will you regret not doing?
I would regret not staying focused and making a name for Sizzlin Saladz I will regret giving up and not being the chef that My Chef trained me to be I will regret not keeping my faith and being determined and letting those down that believe in me.
