Inspiring Conversations with Tiffany Cartwright of GLAM Body Scrubs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Cartwright.

Hi Tiffany, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story starts with me mixing natural ingredients in my kitchen to help my daughter‘s eczema. From there, we landed Wal-Mart, Target, Meijer, Stop & Shop, Good Morning America, Tamron Hall show, Essence, Entrepreneur, Forbes, Black Enterprise, and even took the brand to Africa.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It is not been a smooth road, but it has definitely been worth it. As a first generation entrepreneur, I feel as though I’ve made every possible mistake in business, but I have no regrets.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about GLAM Body Scrubs ?
We are a certified woman owned, certified minority owned Detroit based company specializing in customer driven and patient driven skincare products. Gueriderma was developed completely at the request of cancer patients, who, in some cases insist it is the only thing they can use on their skin that doesn’t make them sick. I am honored to have been able to develop such a product and I am determined to move forward and place it in as many Cancer Survivor’s hands as possible.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was going to the theater, the ballet, and the opera.
