When the world slowed down during the pandemic, I found myself navigating pregnancy in complete isolation. With those closest to me unable to be present, every appointment and preparation felt heavier. Even at home with my husband and son, a quiet void reminded me how vital it is to have someone show up when life feels overwhelming. Having lost both of my parents, my mom in 2017 and my dad in 2019, that loneliness hit even deeper and left me with a profound understanding of the worth of support and presence.
Inspired by that season, I began to embrace and channel my skills into something tangible. I spent countless early mornings and late nights building systems, refining processes, and planning how I could translate my natural ability to orchestrate home estates, family milestones, and daily life into a standard others could rely on. Recognizing the significance of these skills confirmed the nudge I had been feeling in prayer, reminding me that this calling was part of the purpose God had placed in my life from birth. That nudge became the foundation of (un)stressed & co., established in 2022, a brand created to bring calm to physical spaces and daily routines and help others find understanding through the art of organization.
(un)stressed & co. is a lifestyle management brand empowering women in every role through refined organization, effortless coordination, and structured solutions that help them thrive in life’s tasks. Built from both lived experience and inspired insight, the brand reflects my belief that order is not just about aesthetics, it is about balance, succinct assurance, and the freedom to be fully present in intimate spaces and life’s most meaningful moments. As a wife and boy mom of two, I understand the daily challenges of balancing multiple roles, which inspires the way I help clients reclaim their time, restore balance, and navigate life’s responsibilities with clarity and confidence. Through intentional systems and individualized service, I have grown the business into a trusted name in estate and life management for high-functioning households, continuing to evolve and expand its impact.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all! Building anew and exploring how to turn my passion into something purposeful came with its obstacles. From time to time, I said yes to prove my worth beyond my service collection, facing moments of self-doubt and uncertainty along the way. Each experience became an opportunity to excel and learn how to build a business that could withstand the test of time. I immersed myself in understanding every aspect of my industry, paying close attention to client feedback and adjusting my approach when needed. Those early challenges taught me to stay intentional, adapt with confidence, and show up consistently for the clients who trust me with their homes and daily lives.

Being birthed and bred in Detroit and now rooted in Southfield feels like living in a state of nostalgia. We endure opportunity to thrive through resilience, and Detroiters have an unmatched drive to build, rebuild, and emerge stronger each time. This city continues to shape who I am both individually and in my professional trajectory. Of course, every city has its quirks, and Detroit is no exception. Constant construction, limited parking woes, and challenges in fully avoiding violence are difficult to navigate.
