I’ve always had such a love for fashion and styling, and I wanted to create something that really represented confidence, femininity, and self-expression. Before starting It Girl Energy Boutique, I actually worked in HR. I learned a lot from that experience, but deep down I knew I wanted to do something more creative — something that felt like me.

Starting It Girl Energy has been the best decision I’ve ever made. I launched it just a few months ago with the goal of bringing trendy, girly, and statement pieces to girls who love to stand out and feel confident in what they wear. I started small — picking out pieces I personally loved — and it’s grown so quickly through social media and the amazing support from people in my community. It’s crazy to think that what started as just an idea in my head turned into something that’s become such a big part of my life — and something that inspires others, too.

It’s been such a learning experience, but I’ve genuinely loved every part of it. Seeing people connect with my brand and feel beautiful in their outfits makes it all so worth it — it’s such a full-circle moment for me.

It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — not even close. I’ve had to learn everything completely on my own while juggling having another job and handling every part of the business myself, with the help and support of my mom and dad. My dad owns a business too, but not in retail, so this has been a totally new experience for all of us. There’s been a lot of trial and error, late nights, and moments where I’ve had to just figure things out as I go.

In the beginning, I reached out to so many other boutique owners for advice because I truly had no idea where to start. I was lucky enough to meet a few who were so kind and willing to share their experiences — and that really helped me find my footing. But still, there’s so much you can only learn through experience. Every day feels like something new — new challenges, new lessons, and sometimes, new doubts.

The truth is, running a boutique can feel uncertain. You never really know how things will go or if you’ll make it through the tough days. But I’m confident in myself and in It Girl Energy. I know I have what it takes to make this grow. I believe so deeply in what I’m creating — and that keeps me going, even when things get hard. Every small win reminds me that I’m doing something real, something that matters to me. And I know this is only the beginning.
