Hi Sheila, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I got started in Real Estate because I’ve always had a passion for helping people find their perfect homes. After spending a few years working in software sales, I realized I wanted to help people and real estate felt like the right fit.
My early days were filled with learning everything I could about the market—understanding trends, different neighborhoods, and, of course, how to best serve clients. I had to hustle hard in the beginning, but I quickly discovered that the key to success wasn’t just about closing deals, but about building genuine relationships and providing value to my clients. Over time, I learned to trust my instincts and knowledge to guide people through what can be one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
As I gained experience, I grew my network, refined my approach, and began to specialize in first-time home buyers and then the luxury market. Today, I’ve had the privilege of helping many clients not just buy or sell a property, but find a place that truly fits their needs, dreams, and lifestyle.
It’s been a rewarding journey, and I’m constantly evolving—staying up-to-date with market shifts, new tools, and ways to offer better service. Ultimately, my goal has always been to make the Real Estate experience as smooth and fulfilling as possible for everyone I work with.

Like most journeys, it’s been full of ups and downs, but each challenge has helped me grow and refine my approach.
Early on, I faced the typical hurdles—learning the ropes of the industry, figuring out how to stand out in a competitive market, and building trust with clients. In real estate, you’re essentially starting your own business, and that requires a lot of hustle, persistence, and sometimes long hours with little reward. There were definitely moments of doubt, especially when things didn’t move as quickly as I had hoped.
One of the toughest parts was dealing with the emotional side of the business. Real estate is so personal for clients, and there’s a lot of pressure involved—whether it’s navigating tough negotiations, helping clients through setbacks (like a deal falling through), or handling the uncertainty of commission-based income. It’s easy to feel like you’re carrying the weight of their dreams, and managing that while maintaining professionalism and calm is no small feat.
There were also times when I had to adjust to market shifts—like the pandemic when I wasn’t sure what the market was going to do, but I was busier than ever! Showing homes during that time was interesting, but I used it as an opportunity to learn new ways of engaging with clients (hello virtual tours!) and staying adaptable.
The biggest lesson, though, is that the struggles never really stop. It’s an industry that requires constant growth, learning, and flexibility. Every setback is an opportunity to fine-tune what works and what doesn’t. That’s been a key factor in getting to where I am now: staying resilient, learning from failures, and always moving forward.

What were you like growing up?
It’s always interesting to look back on how we were shaped growing up! For me, I was definitely a bit shy as well, but I was also incredibly curious. I was the kind of kid who would always be asking questions about everything—whether it was about the world around me or just random things I’d hear in conversations. I think that curiosity is what really helped me develop a love for learning, and it stuck with me as I got older.
I was the oldest of my siblings, and I’ve always taken that role seriously. Being the oldest brought a sense of responsibility, and I was always the one trying to set a good example for my younger siblings. It made me hardworking, reliable, and focused on what I needed to do to help out at home, whether it was helping with chores or looking out for my brothers and sisters.
I’m also very family-oriented. Growing up, family was everything to me. We spent a lot of time together—whether it was at family dinners, holidays, or just hanging out. Those bonds helped shape my values of loyalty, support, and the importance of being there for the people you care about.
Even though I was a little on the quiet side, I always tried to be there for my family and friends when they needed me. That sense of responsibility and care has definitely carried over into my career today, especially in the way I approach my work and my relationships with clients.
