Hi Krystal, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Jewelry came to mind after wanting to add more “pizzazz” to my dance costumes. I would come up with designs and make them come to fruition. I enjoyed the process way more than I expected and it became a hobby. The business idea came much later after wanting to create longer-lasting pieces and expanding the type of jewelry I wanted to design and sell. There was much to factor in before launching, so I did a lot of research and sampling. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building systems and structure is never a smooth road. It’s about trial and error. Establishing logistics and seeing if it works for the company can be quite difficult. Not only that but finding products that meet the company’s standard. Those areas were the most difficult, but with consistency and determination, we found what works for us.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I was very active and imaginative. From designing baby doll clothing as a little girl to dancing back up for local artists, I’ve always felt that being a creative was a part of my purpose. My interest has always been the art of creating something out of nothing.
