Hi Keonna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Candle making started as a hobby in 2020. I needed a hobby to occupy my time. I’ve always loved candles so I researched how to make them. Once I got the process down, I gave some to my sister and best friend to try. My best friend called me and told me not to give the candles away. I found my thing. After a big of brainstorming, Infinite Glow Candle Co. was born.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth ride but I have learned a lot about the candle industry and myself. I had to learn and adapt to the waves of candle sales. Fall and winter are the busiest seasons so I had to learn how to gain and retain customers during the slower seasons. With that I also had to find my target audience.

What makes Infinite Glow Candles different from the rest is I use high quality materials and ingredients to make candles. From the jars to the labels, I don’t cut corners or choose cheaper products. My goal has always been make a product that I would buy.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Starting a business was one of the biggest risks that I have taken. I had no experience in the candle/retail or owning a business. I learned step by step and asked questions along the way. I also had to find my target audience. It definitely wasn’t what i thought it would be.
