Hi Gabrielle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey as a makeup artist began over a decade ago with a single, transformative encounter. My first client, a woman battling stage 4 breast cancer, saw her reflection after her makeover and cried tears of joy because of how beautiful it made her feel. In that moment, I realized the profound impact my skills could have. Her gratitude inspired me to fully embrace a career in makeup artistry.

Determined to bring beauty and confidence to as many people as possible, I honed my craft, specializing in natural makeup looks and customer service. My dedication didn’t go unnoticed, and clients started referring me above the volume I could handle.

With just $11 to my name and a dream, I built strong relationships with talented women I met in the industry. I formed an award-winning glam squad, and my agency gained a reputation for creating effortlessly beautiful looks for brides, models, and beyond in addition to positive client communication and interactions.

Throughout this journey, I never forgot the woman who inspired it all. Every time a client leaves my chair feeling beautiful, I’m reminded of the power of my work and her story. I’d like to say my story is one of resilience, passion, and the incredible ability to touch lives through makeup.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In the bridal industry, we have faced significant challenges like a saturated market, high client expectations, and seasonal fluctuations. The COVID-19 pandemic added its own hurdles with cancellations, health concerns, and shifting demand. To stand out in such a saturated market, we focused on building a strong brand by highlighting what sets us apart. We provided exceptional customer service and adapted to changes by continually updating our skills. Networking with industry professionals and working with our talented team of professionals helped us maintain trust.

I run an award-winning on-location glam squad specializing in natural bridal makeup.
