Inspiring Conversations with DeVa Green of The DeVa Experience

Today we’d like to introduce you to DeVa Green. 

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I got my start by giving myself a start. My favorite quote by one of my favorite Female Entrepreneurs Madam C.J. Walker. It started back in High School I always wanted to be a Fashion Designer and put on Fashion Show. I chose to go Bauder College for Fashion Designer but after my first quarter, I quickly decided that I absolutely hated the sewing part but I still loved everything else about Fashion and the production part so I changed my major to Fashion Merchandising. I got to where I am today because I’m really big on FAITH and believing anything I put my mind to and work and PRAY it will happen. With College and real-life experiences and willing to be a student at times got me prepared for The DeVa Experience and the founder of DeJerNi a Luxury Male Brand. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been smooth, it has been a journey with ups and downs. Sometimes you have lose sleep, friends, invest more money than you thought. But I wouldn’t change a thing.

Event Planning and Fashion Show Production. I also offer branding and marketing services. What sets me apart is I like to think outside the box and my slogan is Bringing DREAMS to REALITY… 

Most proud of is I’m on my third Fashion Show would have been 5th put due to pandemic I had to postpone the last two shows. 

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Seeing other people’s dreams come true. Because it’s a wonderful feeling knowing how hard someone worked towards a dream and it finally comes to the light.
