Inspiring Conversations with Danielle Paquin of Danielle Paquin Beauty Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Paquin.

Hi Danielle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my company 9 years ago after burn out and corporate life no longer suited me. I was revived by doing something creative and going back to what I love, art, and the expression of art through makeup. I was taught the skill of makeup artistry and skincare in my younger years and it ultimately became where my passion lies.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have never felt a struggle with clients or the skill itself. More so the balance of workload and family life. I’ve always said if this passion becomes something I lose love for, I would stop. I have never put pressure on myself when it comes to this work. The pressure I create for myself is juggling the workload now and keeping the bar extra high in terms of the quality of the work I display and the business side of running a bridal makeup team which has many demands from the administrative side of things. My passion for makeup is intrinsic in who I am, so wedding bridal trends and keeping up with what’s current or new is part of that everyday intake that I naturally have with what I research and absorb on social media.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are an onsite bridal makeup specialist team in Metro Detroit. My team is specifically curated with experienced and talented artists who have been doing bridal makeup for many years and who’s style and professionalism embody my own. I expect artistry and professionalism to go hand in hand. Wedding days are about taking care of the wedding morning from bride, to moms, to bridesmaids, and anyone else who is present on wedding morning. It’s a team mentality and the goal is for the entire morning to be executed seemlessly and smoothly for our brides and bride’s families. I also offer mentorship and education for bridal beauty entrepreneurs and salons who offer bridal.
