Hi Aurscanta, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I have worked in various human service positions throughout Saginaw County such as working in the juvenile detention center, courthouse, psychiatric hospital, foster care worker, and housing navigator. It has always been a passion of mine to help others overcome personal barriers that may be stopping them from reaching their full potential. I have always gone above and beyond any role or title I was given. Often times I would be multitasking, assessing and redesigning past and current business processes. My mind is just naturally wired to be solution based. In May 2020, I completed my Master’s Degree in Business Administration/ Leadership. I wanted to think of a way to connect my previous work experience with my new degree. In July 2020, NGK Consulting was born. In the heart of the pandemic, there were many people starting businesses but often they’d find out they didn’t have all the tools needed to get their business started the right way or just the mindset to fully execute really great business ideas.. NGK offers business startup, strategic planning, and coaching services. I have worked with a number of businesses getting their business start-up, revamping, marketing, and just simply providing business coaching to help keep them mentally afloat as being an entrepreneur is not always an easy job.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not always been a smooth road, as I help people work through their business navigations, I am also faced with some of the same obstacles. Some of the struggles I’ve faced is consistency, as a business especially in the digital world consistency is key. You have to wake up every day and show people that your open for business. I am still navigating a full-time job and trying to run NGK as well so consistently showing up for my own business has been somewhat of a struggle for me. Another struggle is actually getting my business out there. I have operated more so on a word-of-mouth basis. This coming year I would like to push to operate NGK on a more full-time scale.

NGK Consulting is a consulting business that assists business owners with transcribing their wildest dreams into an operable business. Business coaching is my specialty. As a coach you are working with people who already have the talent or skill needed to be successful, they just need someone to help bring those things out of them. That is where I step in, I use my own unique guided approach to help empower clients to believe that anything they want to do is achievable. Hearing their feedback on how I was able to empower them. What was you like growing up?
Growing up I was very introverted. I enjoyed reading and learning new things more than I did socializing. I’ve always had a small circle. I have a lot of siblings and the same couple friends I’ve always had. As a child, I wanted to be a teacher. However, as a teenager, I found a niche for doing hair. I enjoyed making my own money as a teen, which opened my eyes to entrepreneurship. I completed two years at the Saginaw Career Complex in their Marketing & Entrepreneurship program. At the time of graduation, not having my own business plan I decided to ditch the whole entrepreneurship thing and go into Criminal justice. Outside of those things music is truly my happy place. I’ve always been an avid music lover. I love music of all genres.
