Inspiring Conversations with Ariel Taub of Ariel Taub

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariel Taub.

Hi Ariel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve dreamed of working in fashion for as long as I can remember. I learned how to sew at a young age and started taking fashion classes when I was 13, eventually going on to study design at Parsons.

After graduating, I fell in love with the bridal industry. I was drawn to the combination of high fashion and theater—the artistry, drama, and emotion that go into creating a look for such an important moment. Accessories quickly became my favorite part because they’re what allow someone to really express their personality and make a look their own.

As my company, Ariel Taub, grew within bridal, I started noticing something interesting at trunk shows: the bridal consultants were buying the pieces for themselves. That inspired me to expand beyond bridal and create accessories designed to transition from your wedding day to every day. Today, the brand brings those two worlds together, pieces that feel special enough for life’s biggest moments, but are meant to be worn and loved long after.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve been incredibly fortunate that stores responded to my work and began carrying my pieces early on, but that doesn’t mean it’s been a smooth road. I think from the outside, success can sometimes look like it happens overnight, when in reality it’s built through years of long days, persistence, and constantly learning and adapting.

Building a brand takes a tremendous amount of dedication, and there are always challenges along the way. Having a strong support system, believing in what I was creating, and being willing to keep evolving have all been incredibly important in getting Ariel Taub to where it is today.

We’ve been impressed with Ariel Taub, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Ariel Taub is a bridal and fashion accessories brand designed for the modern woman who wants to stand out and bring a little glamour to every occasion. The collection includes everything from veils, jewelry and garters to statement clutches, with pieces designed to take you from your wedding day to every day.

Craftsmanship is at the heart of the brand. Every piece is either made or assembled by hand by me or one of my personally trained artisans in our Michigan studio. Our clutches, for example, are handcrafted from the fabrication to the final crystal work, with Swarovski crystals individually placed by hand to create pieces that are truly meant to turn heads.

Comfort is just as important to me as design. As someone who suffers from migraines, I know how quickly a beautiful accessory can become something you can’t wait to take off. That inspired me to create modern jewelry that is exceptionally lightweight and comfortable. They are pieces you can almost forget you’re wearing. Our jewelry is also nickel-free.

I’m incredibly proud of how the brand has grown while maintaining that hands-on approach. Ariel Taub is now carried in more than 100 retailers nationwide and internationally, in addition to our dedicated e-commerce site. It’s also been surreal to see our pieces worn by celebrities, including Carrie Underwood on *American Idol*. No matter how much the brand grows, I want every Ariel Taub piece to feel special, beautifully made and like an expression of the woman wearing it.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of my family and my husband, who have believed in me and encouraged me throughout every stage of building the business. One of my sisters holds an especially meaningful place in the story, she trusted me to create the veil for her wedding, which was actually the very first veil I ever made. That moment helped set me on the path to where Ariel Taub is today.

I’m also incredibly grateful for my team. My sales and production assistants play such an important role in the day-to-day business, and I simply wouldn’t be able to grow the brand without them.

And, of course, my retailers have been an essential part of the journey. The stores that have chosen to carry Ariel Taub, introduce the collection to their clients, and continue to support the brand have played a huge role in allowing me to build the business into what it is today.
