Hi Amber, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Despite the risks associated with launching a business during the pandemic, we successfully opened our doors in December 2020. Our professional cleaning services have expanded to include multiple streams, serving Detroit, Central Michigan, and surrounding regions. We take pride in our diverse client portfolio and employ a team of around seven individuals. Future plans involve broadening our service offerings to other states in the years ahead.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The primary obstacles we have encountered have been related to hiring competent employees. We have also dealt with issues such as non-payment. A particularly concerning incident involved a client engaging in a physical altercation with a colleague. Moreover, we have experienced situations where client property was damaged or lost, resulting in lost business, and employees failed to return equipment. Nevertheless, we have been able to resolve most of these issues and are currently operating smoothly.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Our journey has afforded us a wealth of knowledge in various areas. We are deeply grateful for the involvement of everyone. The paramount takeaway from our journey is to never allow others to dissuade you.
