Hi Addison, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my Tax business in fall of 2021. As a mom of 6 I was determined to find a path to wealth where I could control my life and time in order to be dedicated to my children. Every where I went I continued to see messages around taxes. I had no other choice to dig deeper and gain knowledge about the tax industry and what it took to become a tax preparer. I joined a service bureau in late summer of 2021. I immersed myself in learning the laws and took on some training. By November I had my PTIN and EFIN, professional software, and a new LLC ready to launch for the 2022 tax season. The first year was a bit rocky as people are hesitant to trust with their personal information regardless of how they know you personally. Five seasons later I am a full service bureau. I’ve moved across the country and so proud of myself for stepping out in faith by starting this business. My life has truly transformed, and I am now helping others get started in the industry to change their lives as well!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road had been tough. As I mentioned before I am a mom of six, so juggling kids and starting a business is a feat of its own! Also, as a tax preparer people entrust you with their most personal information, and building that trust takes time and effort. Today the industry is becoming a fad and extremely saturated. With there being so many scam artists and a general lack of knowledge clients are becoming very skeptical.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

Just this year we have begun offering coaching services where we teach others how to Start a Tax Business and gain a new career offering more freedom and unlimited earning potential. We also offer digital products for those who enjoy the DIY route, and host monthly Free webinars that teach those interested on how to get started in the industry. We aren’t just filing taxes, we’re helping people create a new path in their lives.

I am a person that has struggled over the last decade, but I found a way out. My purpose and mission is to help and inspire others to do the same! I want to be a role model to my children to show them resilience and to follow their dreams! I want my children and others around me to know that there is NO box, and there are no ceilings. You can be who you want to be and soar as high as you want to go!
