Hi Tiara, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Working in the healthcare field “although I absolutely loved it” There came a time in my life where I as a single Mother was just fed up. Fed up with the 9 to 5, working long hours. Being told when to show up, when I could go home and when I could have a day off was getting old. I had to think of something and quick. I’ve always took pride in my skincare routine and had a love for different skincare products. I would experiment with different ingredients and make up my own skincare products for personal use. That’s when it dawned on me. That’s when I told myself, this is it, this is what I want to do. Let me go ahead and put this stuff on the market., but I wanted to go further, I wanted to educate others of the importance of skincare. I went down to PRN at my job and I attended esthetician school. I also knew I wanted to go into business for myself so I brainstormed that as well. Fast forward two years later to 2020 and that’s when GOLDEN GODDESS SKINCARE went public.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth rode. Starting up a business is never an easy thing to do. I started up a business during the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic. So many restrictions were placed upon me during my start up.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Golden Goddess Skincare specializes in spa services such as waxing, facials, and steams. We are best known for our progressiveness, independent, intelligent, unique, and idealistic personalities and services. I am determined to get as many Women and Males as possible to get in tune with their skin and practice a good skincare routine. I’m offering the whole package. When it comes to self-care, I’m promoting everyone to take care of the body as well not just mind. Golden Goddess offers all-natural and organic skincare products and that’s what sets us aside from most. I’m most proud of the amount of customers that I have been able to educate about the importance of the skincare. We offer all of our products and services at a very affordable price… We aim to have you loving the skin you are in.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
All of my clients deserve credit. They play a big part of the success we have had. My mother wears many hats when it comes to Golden Goddess. She sort of fill in wherever to make sure I succeed. My sister who stepped up as an assistant and my cousin Diamond. My whole family has been my biggest cheerleaders honestly, near and far. That’s what keeps me going. I’m forever grateful for them all. #TEAMANDERSON
