Founded by Darwin and Teresa Walker, our journey began when we recognized a gap in the market while planning our own wedding. We saw the need for a space where clients could not only host events but also design, plan, and bring their dream occasions to life without the overwhelming hassle of juggling multiple vendors.
With that idea in mind, we built Eleven11 to be more than just an event venue. We are a full-service event management firm, offering stunning event spaces, high-end rentals, expert planning, and even education for aspiring event professionals. Our business model is the “Build-a-Bear” of event planning—customizable, client-focused, and tailored to every unique vision.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road to building Eleven11 Event Studio was anything but smooth. Like many entrepreneurs, we faced a roller coaster of challenges—unexpected setbacks, financial burdens, and a global crisis that nearly stopped us before we even began.
The vision for Eleven11 was born long before we officially started our search for a space in 2018. We knew we wanted to create a one-stop destination where clients could plan, design, and host their dream events. However, turning that vision into reality proved to be an uphill battle. The first space we pursued fell through, but we didn’t give up. We continued searching, tirelessly exploring location after location until we finally found the perfect space. From there, the real work began.
Our chosen venue required a complete transformation. What was once two separate units, we renovated into a single, modern event space tailored to our vision. After two years of searching, planning, and navigating construction challenges, we were ready. Our grand opening was scheduled for March 2020—a milestone we had eagerly anticipated.
Then, the unthinkable happened.
Just three days before our grand opening, the state issued stay-at-home orders due to the pandemic. Suddenly, everything came to a screeching halt. On a personal level, we were grappling with devastating losses of family and friends. On a business level, we faced mounting expenses with no revenue and no access to financial relief. Because our doors hadn’t officially opened before the pandemic, we didn’t qualify for government assistance. Despite these overwhelming obstacles, we refused to let our dream die.
With unwavering determination, we kept pushing forward. We covered expenses with our corporate salaries, knowing that when the world reopened, we would be ready. And when the stay-at-home orders were lifted, we hit the ground running. Clients were eager to celebrate, and we were there to bring their visions to life.
Through resilience, passion, and an unshakable commitment to our mission, Eleven11 Event Studio not only survived but thrived. Today, we continue to create unforgettable experiences for our clients, proving that even the most difficult journeys can lead to incredible destinations.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5-10 years, the event industry will continue evolving with a strong focus on personalization, technology integration, and immersive experiences. Clients are no longer just looking for an event—they want a unique, engaging, and unforgettable experience that tells a story and creates lasting memories. I don’t see a major shift in the need for events—people will always come together to celebrate. However, events will become more personalized and reflective of the host’s unique style and vision, making each gathering a truly tailored experience. With emerging trends, I see a shift toward highly curated events tailored to each client’s unique needs, wishes, and beliefs. From surprising guests with an unexpected wedding at what was thought to be a birthday party to couples opting for ice cream over the traditional wedding cake, personalization is taking center stage. More than ever, event hosts are ditching traditional trends and embracing designs that reflect their personalities, values, and visions, making each celebration truly their own.
