Hidden Gems: Meet Sara Ashley of Sara Ashley Astrology

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Ashley.

Hi Sara, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I was raised in a Jewish household with a clairsentient mother. When my mom had a feeling about something, she was always right! Combined with my mother’s gift of knowing, and the religious upbringing that gave me a foundation to believe that God was always by my side, I started studying Astrology from a young age. In high school, I sat down in the Spirituality section with a frozen coffee drink and a stack of books. I started doing Astrological charts for my friends and they loved it.

I was inspired to help people for a living, so I became a special education teacher. For 13 years, I dedicated my life to high school students with emotional and cognitive deficits.

When COVID hit, we were all sidelined at home. It was nearly impossible to give my students the quality of education they deserved. I was devastated, so I once again turned to spirituality and Astrology to provide answers to the catastrophe that was occurring on a worldwide level.

As I was sitting at home watching other Astrologers and intuitive practitioners explain the broader meaning of the pandemic on YouTube and Instagram videos, I decided to not just be a passive audience member, but throw myself into creating videos as well. I started my Instagram account in 2021, creating daily horoscope videos, and trying to uplift the public who was in a low spot. Since then, my business has grown and afforded me to allow Astrology to become my full-time occupation.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road for me. Even in the area of spirituality, some practitioners are intimidated by “competition.” I’ve had other Astrologers accuse me of copying their content. It’s also difficult to cut through a very saturated field. I found that by being my authentic self has attracted the right clients and followers.

Sara Ashley Astrology is a spiritual consulting business. I combine my gifts of Astrology, Akashic Records readings, Tarot, and Psychic Mediumship to guide my clients to their soul purpose and to live a life that serves their highest good and the highest good.

What sets me apart from other spiritual practitioners is that I’ve lived outside of the spiritual industry. As a special education teacher, I worked with families from all different races, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I even lived abroad in Asia for 3 years, which humbled me with all of the things we take for granted in Western society.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson that I’ve learned is to learn constantly. I never stop reading books about Astrology and spirituality and taking classes about my craft. I’m a teacher, but I’m also a lifelong student.
