Denise Zolinski and Paige Woodruff, the visionary founders of Pure Medical Spa, established the spa in 2023 with a shared passion for aesthetics and wellness. With a combined nineteen years of experience in the industry, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their craft. Holding multiple licenses and certifications, Denise and Paige are dedicated to staying at the forefront of the field through continuous education and skill refinement. Their proactive and detail-oriented approach ensures that they provide the highest standard of care to their clients. Their warm and compassionate personalities create a welcoming environment where clients feel valued and supported. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the biggest challenges we faced in starting up our medical spa in Bay City was simply taking that leap of faith—believing in our vision and staying positive even when the path ahead was uncertain. It wasn’t easy stepping into something new, but deep down, we knew this was what we were meant to do. From the very beginning, one of our main goals has been to create a space where everyone feels truly welcomed the moment they walk through our doors. We want our clients to not only feel comfortable, but also leave feeling better—physically, mentally, and emotionally—than when they arrived. A big part of that is also taking away the fear and intimidation that can sometimes surround the aesthetic industry. By being transparent, approachable, and client-focused, we hope to shift the narrative and show people that aesthetics can be both empowering and deeply personal, not something to be feared or judged.
