Hi Orass , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Orass Mussa, and I am an Iraqi-American actor, creative professional, and storyteller. My journey began with a passion for connecting with people and expressing emotions through performance. Growing up, I was always drawn to film, television, and the power of storytelling. I admired how actors could inspire, entertain, and bring meaningful stories to life.
Like many people pursuing a creative career, my path has not always been straightforward. I balanced work, family responsibilities, and personal growth while continuing to develop my skills and pursue opportunities in the entertainment industry. Along the way, I learned the importance of persistence, discipline, and believing in yourself even when success doesn’t come immediately.
Over the years, I have worked on building my presence as an actor, creating content, networking with industry professionals, and continuously improving my craft. Each experience, whether big or small, has helped shape who I am today. My goal has always been to grow not only as a performer but also as a person who can positively impact others through storytelling.
Today, I continue pursuing opportunities in acting, modeling, and creative projects while building my personal brand. I believe every challenge and every step of the journey has prepared me for the opportunities ahead. My story is still being written, and I am excited about what the future holds.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a completely smooth road. Like many people pursuing a creative career, I have faced challenges, setbacks, and moments of uncertainty along the way. Building a name for yourself in the entertainment industry requires patience, persistence, and a strong belief in your goals.
One of the biggest struggles has been finding the right opportunities and continuing to move forward even when progress felt slow. There were times when I had to balance personal responsibilities while working toward my dreams as an actor. Rejection and competition can also be difficult, but they taught me resilience and helped me grow both personally and professionally.
Every challenge has been a learning experience. Instead of letting obstacles stop me, I used them as motivation to improve my skills, stay focused, and keep pursuing my passion. Looking back, those struggles have played an important role in shaping who I am today and have made every achievement even more meaningful.
