Hidden Gems: Meet Nicole Brooks of NikB.Fit

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Brooks. 

Hi Nicole, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
From selling lemonade as child to doing hair in high school to making jewelry and more, I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart. However, it was NikB.Fit that become my passionate labor of love! NikB.Fit is an activewear brand inspired by the strength, faith, and love of Jesus. NikB.Fit was established in 2020. My love for God and my personal fitness journey are what inspired NikB.Fit. Being a cancer survivor, I am a walking testimony of how good God is so I wanted to represent Him in my business. Since childhood, my weight has fluctuated so I love that NikB.Fit even inspires me to continue working towards my fitness goals. Today, NikB.Fit is an online Fitness Shop that sales everything from leggings, activewear sets, t-shirts, resistance bands, and more. My goal for NikB.Fit is to continue to prosper and expand as a business and inspire others to become the best version of themselves spiritually and physically! 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
One of the biggest struggles with NikB.Fit has been avoiding burnout. Balancing being a full-time student, mom, wife on top of running a business is no simple task. I’ve felt overwhelmed and burned out many times. However, God as well as having a supportive family strengthens me to keep going! 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
NikB.Fit – Fit and Faith-Filled, is an expanding activewear brand that sells fashionable activewear and fitness accessories that serves any active lifestyle. I am the founder and owner of NikB.Fit. What sets NikB.Fit apart from other activewear brands is that my hope is not only to sale nice products, it’s also to encourage faith in God as well as inspire others to always work toward their fitness goals and goals in general. I’m most proud of the fact that two years later, my business is still growing and reaching milestones. I want everyone to know that I am grateful for all the support NikB.Fit has received and kind words. Thank you! 

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice for anyone just starting out is to put in work, stay consistent and trust God. When starting out, one of the things I wish I knew was more marketing strategies.
