Hi Louai & Yasmine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Hi, I am Lou, a marketing enthusiast and the founder of Urban Pixel. I always had a special affinity for everything digital and tech-related. Ever since I was a kid rather than playing games on my PC, I was busy creating and editing mixtapes; the old way of content creation. Instead of competing on video games, I was dissecting my computer hardware. It was always about the nitty-gritty details. Always about the backend, and how things are done. 

Hi, I am Yasmine, a yogi/fitness enthusiast and co-founder at Urban Pixel with a passion for humanitarianism. What’s more to life than having a positive impact on people? 

I love working in media because it allows me not only to share messages that are important but also to help build a community through shared experiences online and offline through the creation of valuable content and strong campaigns. 

Yasmine and I went through it all. We experienced the devastating port explosion in Beirut, Lebanon, where our whole world came tumbling down; we were shocked. For days. This tragedy rocked both our lives personally, professionally, emotionally, and mentally. The crash of the economy didn’t help either. We were in a space where we couldn’t create, excel, or grow. 

Fast Forward to modern days. We came to Detroit. We weren’t planning on staying in Detroit, but we fell head-over-heels with the city. The city gave us a second chance. We made our decision to stay, and that was the best decision we have ever made for our career. It’s been so much fun building our business from scratch again while learning what makes this place great! Fast-tracking our way back into the business world was easy because of the U.S developed infrastructure. 

We know how overwhelming it can be when faced with all these new internet marketing trends; there’s so much jargon that nobody understands what they are saying anymore! So, we created Urban PixeI because our clients needed help understanding this complex world online without feeling like outsiders. 

Together, Yasmine and I built Urban Pixel because content marketing is a continuous effort that takes resources and time to run effectively. We came to this conclusion after finally understanding the power of delegation. 

We specialize in Blog Management Services as well as Search Engine Optimization, which is the process of making your site rank high on Google for certain keywords so that people will find it when they do a search! 

Google processes over 8.5 billion searches per day. 

People worldwide underestimate the power of search engine optimization and content marketing. I mean how many times do you google a day? and when you do google what grabs your attention? 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Although the road has not been smooth, we would not have it any other way. The challenges were only there to make us stronger and teach us things we otherwise wouldn’t have known. It’s kind of like a Rubik’s cube, we take our time to solve the puzzle and enjoy the ride. 

Rather we would love to emphasize all the beautiful people that we have met along the way, who were very welcoming and supportive.

Most businesses start by offering their services, we started by experiencing our own services. Through the creation of various blogs centered around topics like pets, fitness, finance and crypto, health & wellness, we learned what works and what doesn’t – by experimentation. Through this wealth of knowledge, we collected we now offer content marketing services that are based on real-life experiences.
