Laura, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hi, my name is Laura, and I began my career in the beauty industry in 2003. Initially I was a sales rep for a laser spa and also got educated and certified to operate the lasers. I found the field fascinating. I especially loved assisting the cosmetic surgeon with facial aesthetic procedures and post operative patient care. I went on to Cosmetology and Aesthetics School and obtained my license so I could offer a broad range of services. From brow and lash tinting to Erbium laser treatments and many more skin rejuvenating options. I especially love the results clients get from advanced chemical peels. After many years in the field, I’d moved up to clinic director of a local med spa. I loved the business side of the spa industry as well. I decided I wanted to open my own practice and began interviewing several doctors to select one to partner with, I felt that Dr. Pierre Rojas was the best fit, as he was already familiar with and helping his patients with the rejuvenating effects of hormone replacement therapy and helping them optimize their health with personalized weight loss protocols. Dr. Rojas believes in a very customized approach to deliver the highest patient satisfaction with their results. Along with his warm friendly demeanor and high level of patient care, I knew he was right for the team. Thus, Mireya Medical Aesthetics was created! We work closely with each patient to assess their individual needs and tailor their treatments to perfectly fit them.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a wonderful integration of our individual skills to deliver great results to our patients. We keep growing and innovating as this is an ever changing and advancing field. In fact, right now as we speak Dr. Rojas is at a continuing education seminar to learn all there is to know about PDO threads! We hope to offer that service in the very near future and are interested to add PRP, exosomes and hair restoration to our service menu as well. The only challenge we see is we’ll need a larger parking lot to accommodate the demand!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Mireya Medical Aesthetics?
We strive to build a practice that is warm and inviting. We know that these treatments deliver great results, but they can sometimes make new clients feel a bit anxious. So, we explain every procedure thoroughly and patiently and will never be high pressure. Treatments are given in a calm and relaxing luxury spa atmosphere to spoil and pamper you to the fullest.

How do you define success?
Success for us, is a patient who feels cared for, listened to and develops trust. Not only to return for more services themselves, but the highest compliments we feel we can receive is the referral of their friends and loved ones. We often start out seeing a client and soon after, we are caring for their entire family and nothing makes us more proud and happy than that!
