Hidden Gems: Meet Hari Ojha of Momo Hub

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hari Ojha.

Hi Hari, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory. 
I came to United States as an immigrant from back in 2015. I completed my MBA from Lincoln University, Oakland, California back in 2017. As an immigrant, it was really hard for me to cope up with the environment. I came from a country where GPS or Google map was big thing, even we have place where we had no roads. 

I started as restaurant kitchen helper, worked in Gas station, worked for Tesla for couple of month, and was a full-time Uber driver for 4 years, and I started my first liquor store back in 2018 in San Francisco. I was able to add another liquor store in 2019 at Santa Clara. Last year I started Nepalese restaurant name MoMo Hub with my partner NawaRaj Tiwari. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life is not easy for any human beings specially for the immigrant. But we know we are here to do hard work so did I. I work 17 hours a day. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Momo hub is a Nepali restaurant where we specialized in Momo (dumplings). Momo is getting really famous all over the world. The way it is made is healthy, and it taste amazing. 

Momo if can be branded it can be next Panda Express, Taco Bell, or chipotle. I mean if we can invest in Momo the franchises can be really successful. 

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
We stared Kheer Momo, which we have registered for its trademark under Momo hub. It is a dessert Momo. Kheer Momo is getting really famous here in Santa Clara
