Hi Colin & Evan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Useless Creatures Brewing Co. is a small, family owned and operated brew pub in Three Rivers, MI. Owners Colin and Evan Monroe, along with their cousin Chase Berry opened in 2022, specializing in craft beer and smashburgers, after taking over the space previously occupied by Kelsey Block Brewing Company.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overall, it has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. We seem to have found our place in the community almost immediately, with business outpacing our expectations from the start, with continued growth over our last 3 years. Our biggest struggles have been scaling up operations and managing growth, and continually trying to find work/life balance.

Again, we are a small brewpub, specializing in handmade beers and food stuffs. We strive to create a unique and community-oriented space for people to come relax and have delicious things.
