Hi Ana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m the founder of Pawsitive Vibes Pet Care, where I provide premium in-home pet care services including drop-in visits, daily walks, and luxury overnight stays. But for me, this business is about so much more than feeding schedules and potty breaks. It’s about trust. It’s about peace of mind. It’s about treating every pet like they’re my own family.
I grew up watching my immigrant parents work incredibly hard to build a life for us. I saw the sacrifice up close. And I always knew I wanted to create something meaningful that reflected that same work ethic and heart.
I’ve always loved animals, but what really pushed me to start this business was noticing how many pet parents struggle to find reliable, one-on-one care they can truly trust. I saw a gap. Busy professionals, frequent travelers, and people who genuinely see their pets as family needed more than someone just “checking in.” They needed someone who truly cares.
That’s why I built Pawsitive Vibes around personalized, in-home care. I believe pets thrive in their own environment, where they feel safe and comfortable. My overnight services aren’t just about staying the night; they’re intentional. I provide companionship,routine consistency, and attentive monitoring to make sure pets feel secure while their owners are away.
My goal is simple: to bring comfort to both pets and their owners.
Starting a business at 19 hasn’t intimidated me, it’s motivated me. I want to show other young women, especially daughters of immigrants, that you don’t have to wait to build something big. You don’t have to wait until you feel “ready.” You can start now. You can start small. And you can grow.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely, not starting a business is not an easy or smooth road. I chose not to take the traditional college route so I could fully focus on building something of my own. The hardest parts haven’t just been the long hours or financial pressure; it’s been finding the right mentors and pushing myself to keep going when things feel lonely.
Entrepreneurship can be isolating. You carry the vision alone before anyone else sees it.

What sets us apart is that our care is personalized to each pet. I take the time to truly get to know every animal I care for, providing one-on-one attention so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
I also offer free meet and greets because I believe it’s important that we’re the right fit for each other. This allows you to get to know me, ask questions, and allows me to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs.
What are your plans for the future?
My end goal for Pawsitive Vibes Pet Care is to grow the company into a franchise and eventually become Michigan’s number one trusted pet care company. I want to build something that creates opportunities for others who truly love animals while maintaining the same personalized, one-on-one care our clients trust.
As we grow, my goal is to keep the heart of the business the same: ensuring every pet is treated like family, and every pet owner feels peace of mind knowing their animals are safe, loved, and cared for.
