Today we’d like to introduce you to Akil Eckford.
Hi Akil, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Kilz The Don. My name is Akil Eckford but everybody calls me “Kilz” I always had a passion for music and creativity and had a business mindset growing up since the age of 12, my goal at the end of the day is to always cater and help any Artist reach their full potential on the creativity side and the business side of music, I always knew I would do something in the music business. I started my entertainment company (100K Entertainment, LLC) at the 18 in my senior year of high school and I took off shortly after with the help of all the support I had around me.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s never a smooth road on the way to greatness, ups and downs always. The struggles I went through along the way was just finding out that people aren’t always going to see the same vision as you until they see something big happens which is something I currently going through. It’s still a learning process I’m learning everyday

100K Entertainment Is a Full-Service Entertainment Company That Specializes in Music Production & Audio Engineering, Music Marketing & Promotion & Artist Development. We help any Artist on the creativity and the business side of music and we always work for the Artist to help them reach their fullest potential. That’s what makes up different. What I’m most proud of about my brand is that I’m still young and I have a lot of more years to go, so it’s only going to get bigger and better. I accomplished so much in the years of me working, it still feels like the beginning
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
The thing I love about our city is the light we have on us right now with the music, we never got this recognition before. I just wish everybody can come together and put the differences to the side so we can take over even more
