Today we’d like to introduce you to Wendy Fournier and Brenda Tringali.
Hi Wendy and Brenda, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Our story really starts when we were children when we always knew we would work together. In some profound way as 10/12-year-old sisters we knew we were meant to do something to help people. From a very young age, we had intuitive knowledge and gifts that were unexplained and as we grew, we explored so many different holistic healing modalities, to truly learn how to heal ourselves but also, we remembered them in a way and knew to follow this path. Not really having a traditional family structure we did as we pleased and got ourselves through college, Brenda following the mental health path and Wendy following physics, religion, and art. Brenda dedicating her time to achieve a master’s in social work and Wendy getting degrees in art and art history. We pursued different jobs, and our past exploration of the healing arts was tucked away as we tried to be “normal”. A few years after Brenda achieved her master’s, the traditional path just wasn’t for her. She was frustrated with the limitations of the system and wanted to share the wisdom she knew of different practices to create a more holistic approach that truly honored the individual and didn’t compromise or ignore parts of our being.
So, it was Brenda who started the Indigo Doors. Though Wendy was a part of it pretty much from the start, it was Brenda that felt the call to start a wellness center that would incorporate Mental Health and Ancient healing practices. She wanted to be a healer in all ways. Wendy began to flourish in her art and teaching and when she came on board to The Indigo Doors, she began to really expand in her intuitive and “seeing” abilities.
Together they created a business that offers healing sessions that incorporate life coaching, mental health practices, intuitive sessions with or without art, classes, and retreats. Yet the art is at the center of a lot of what the Indigo Doors stands for. The art holds the frequency of the teachings, the energy, and the wisdom of what they share together. Everything we do is meant to help empower people to live their authenticity. We show them how to heal in all ways, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally, so we all can be in alignment to our true purpose and help create a better world.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We have had a lot of struggles along the way, not realizing the internal beliefs we would have to overcome to continually grow and change. We do the work we preach on ourselves every day. In fact, we practice everything we share, every moment of every day. We live and breathe what we teach, practicing mindfulness, showing up for our emotions and belief systems, and shifting and changing them as we learn and expand. To allow ourselves to be successful truly meant looking at our belief systems and believing in our own abilities, which wasn’t always easy. We have experienced many traumas in this lifetime that have afforded us wonderous opportunities to show up for ourselves in the most loving of ways. We understand and know within every fiber the pain and discomfort this human experience can sometimes be and that the most precious of gifts come from this pain which is to help us remember, grow and expand. From our diversities and challenges of feeling unworthy, being financially and physically deprived of the most basic of needs, and thinking in negative and critical ways (and the harm this causes) has opened the doors to our value, our abundance, and the magnificence and power of love and positivity. We love how these experiences have lead to a greater capacity to help! From showing up and trying we’ve learned and know we are not the only ones moving through these types of challenges and discomforts and these wisdoms combined with the mastery within every one of our clients moves emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual mountains!
Our message, mission, and purpose is to help everyone we meet, every client we help and the entire planet to grow and expand into what they already are. Within each and every one of you is a mastery that is unique, special, profound, and much needed! You already have this within you! We help you remember what you already know! We help you embrace this and integrate it into all of your new arts. At this time, there is a lot of unresolved trauma that needs to be repaired and reconciled, within many! There is nothing wrong with that. You got this. We show you how to do this so you can move beyond the limitations of the pain and allow yourself to experience your glory!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Indigo Doors offers a variety of individual sessions, and we offer group events such as workshops and classes to retreats. We want everyone to leave differently than when they arrived, whether they feel more relaxed or connected or truly leave different such as without pain or emotional suffering. Through a variety of methodologies, we empower each person to take responsibility for their lives and feel empowered to create the life they want. Brenda and Wendy both come from professional backgrounds and have a lot of gifts they can share but what sets us apart from others is how intuitive and connected to the other side we are. We see and know things about people we haven’t met in person. We can help others transcend issues and remember who they really are and why they are here. We teach people truly to love themselves and that naturally overflows into all other areas of their lives.
Brenda has developed a Whole Being Wellness program that incorporates all aspects of our being even the spiritual, sexual, and creative parts to integrate and live a balanced life.
Wendy has a unique gift of painting the unseeable so in this way transforms viewers to a different space and time. Her paintings are widely used in sacred spaces and hold an energy that has to be experienced.
She also creates paintings that hold people’s purpose with messages and energies that are unique to the owner.
Individually they see clients to help them in a variety of ways such as mental and emotional health, energy balancing, reading their map with intuitive readings, and much more. Together they create amazing retreats and workshops that catalyst attendees in healing, shifting, and connecting to their life purpose
We’d love to learn more about your work. What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
First and foremost, I am a painter, I use all mediums, such as acrylic painting, oil, and watercolor. I love them all in different ways. I am a storyteller that encompasses the ascension process of the human, how we heal, how we integrate and evolve. What sets me apart is that I practice on being a clear vessel so I can channel and connect to the unseen in the most unbiased way possible. Meaning I do the work and transmute all the fear within me to love as it arises. I am dedicated to that process to bring more light to the planet. Where most artists share their story or talk about their pain or joy, my paintings are teachings or parables of how to embody more of our higher selves, more of our light. I also purely channel where I ask spirit what they want us to know, and I am always blown away at what comes through and the teaching that follows.
For the subject matter of my paintings, I draw from my multifaceted cultural substratum due to my studies in different healing modalities and religions, to create works of art able to connect my deep interest into modern physics and my love of ancient cultures along with wherever I am on my current spiritual journey and investigations. In my paintings I share a unique ability to unveil the unseen through sapient use of symbols, where I am able to connect contemporary sensitiveness to the spiritual realm
I love storytelling that deeply engages the viewers on the emotional front where I tend to use allegorical images able to trigger the viewers’ imagination, inviting them to elaborate personal interpretations.
I create paintings just from spirit or I create custom pieces for clients that are about them and what they hold. I love what I do and I am very grateful for being able to do it.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
We are definitely risk takers. We have created a road not many people travel, and no one is showing us how to do it or where to go. In this way we take risks all the time, from creating videos and content that makes us vulnerable to leaving stable jobs to live what we teach and trust in our messages. It is important to take risks and be brave with your vulnerable and authentic self, that really is just going outside of our comfort zone and the definition of growth. You need risk, you need to get uncomfortable to grow and to keep growing. It isn’t always easy, and it can be scary! And it is always worth it because from this risk taking comes freedom and success!
