Hi Sharyn , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey has been anything but easy. Before trading, I spent over 25 years working as a caregiver, dedicating my life to helping others. Along the way, I faced personal setbacks, financial struggles, and seasons where it felt like everything was working against me. Instead of giving up, I chose to keep learning, growing, and trusting that my story had a greater purpose.
When I discovered trading, I didn’t come from a finance background or Wall Street. I started with a willingness to learn one skill and committed myself to mastering it. There were wins, losses, and plenty of lessons, but each experience helped build my confidence and discipline.
Today, I am focused on trading gold (XAUUSD) and teaching others that financial freedom is possible with the right education, consistency, and mindset. I also founded the Business Girlfriends Network (BGFN), a community that brings people together to build wealth, share resources, and encourage one another—without competition or judgment.
My mission is bigger than making money. I want people, especially women, to understand that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself. No matter your age, background, or past, you can learn a high-income skill, create opportunities for yourself, and leave a legacy for your family.
My story is proof that resilience, faith, and consistency can change the direction of your life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve experienced setbacks, uncertainty, and moments where I questioned whether to keep going. I’ve faced personal challenges, financial hardships, and situations that tested my patience and resilience.
Learning to trade wasn’t something that happened overnight. It required countless hours of studying, practicing, making mistakes, and learning from those mistakes. There were times I lost money, had to rebuild my confidence, and remind myself that success comes through consistency not perfection.
I’ve also learned that building a community comes with challenges. Not everyone will understand your vision, support your mission, or stay committed to the process. That taught me the importance of surrounding myself with people who are serious about growth and willing to put in the work.
Every obstacle has strengthened my faith, sharpened my discipline, and reinforced my purpose. Today, I don’t see those struggles as failures I see them as the foundation that prepared me to help others navigate their own journey with confidence and hope.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that success is built on consistency, not perfection. Early on, I thought reaching my goals would happen quickly, but I realized that lasting success comes from showing up every day, learning from mistakes, and refusing to quit when things don’t go as planned.
I’ve also learned that your mindset is your greatest asset. Skills can be learned, strategies can change, and opportunities will come and go, but believing in yourself and staying committed to your purpose is what carries you through the difficult seasons.
Another lesson is that you can’t build something meaningful alone. The right community, mentors, and relationships can change the trajectory of your life. That’s one of the reasons I created Business Girlfriends Network to provide a place where people can grow together, share knowledge, and encourage one another.
Above all, my faith has taught me to trust the process. There were seasons when I couldn’t see the outcome, but I kept moving forward. Looking back, I realize every challenge was preparing me for the work I’m doing today. My journey has taught me that setbacks don’t define you—how you respond to them does.
