Hi Luna-Belle , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have always loved slime! My uncle used to buy me slime ingredients so I could make my own slime at home. One day, my mom asked me if I wanted to start my own slime business, and I said yes! That’s how MooZoo Slime Shop started.
At first, I just made slime for fun, but then I started selling it at markets and events. Now we do birthday parties, workshops, and have a Slime Bar where kids can create their own slime with colors, scents, charms, and more.
Today, MooZoo Slime Shop is a family business, and I am proud to be the CEO. I love making slime and sharing it with other kids so they can have fun and be creative too!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting MooZoo Slime Shop wasn’t always easy. One of the hardest parts was getting people to know about me and my business. When I first started, not many people knew who I was, so we went to lots of markets and events to show people our slime.
As more people tried our slime and told their friends about us, more families started finding MooZoo. Now we get to do parties, events, and our Slime Bar for lots of kids. I love meeting new people at events and seeing my business grow!

MooZoo Slime Shop is the first and only unique Slime Bar in Grand Rapids, Michigan! At our Slime Bar, kids get to create their very own slime by choosing colors, scents, charms, and fun add-ins.
What makes MooZoo special is that it is run by me, an 8-year-old CEO. I started this business when I was 7-years-old because I love slime, and now I get to share that love with other kids through parties, events, workshops, and community activities.
We are known for making slime fun, creative, and hands-on. My favorite part is seeing kids smile when they create a slime that is completely their own. I’m most proud that MooZoo Slime Shop has grown from a hobby idea into a business that helps bring families together.

How do you think about happiness?
Slime makes me happy because it’s fun to play with and you can make lots of bubbles with it. I also love making different colors, textures, and themes. It makes me happy when other kids enjoy my slime too and seeing how much fun they have creating their own at our Slime Bar.
