Today we’d like to introduce you to Kinde Crouse
Hi Kinde, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I got started in Property Management in January of 2019 working as a Leasing Consultant for Edward Rose & Sons in Clinton Township, MI. Over the years of working there I grew bonds with the prospects that turned into residents and was promoted as a Renewal Specialist, where I worked with every resident closely on renewing their lease or help guiding them on the next moving steps as they were on their career, homebuying or life journey. In August of 2022 I wanted to advance my career in Property Management and started working for Main Street Renewal as a Leasing Specialist. While on my journey there I assisted applicants with leasing homes in major cities in the U.S such as Atlanta, Nashville, and Tampa. I also worked closely with Section 8 applicants and my enjoyment for helping people find their temporary home blossomed. The love I have for this industry is what really motivated me to pursue Real Estate.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey to get to this point has had some setbacks but also some great motivators to keep going. While I was at Main Street Renewal I was taking online classes for my 40-Hour Pre-License Real Estate certificate. During the period I was doing my classes my best friend Aleena had tragically passed away. This was the most devastating time in my life. She would always tell me how proud she was of me to try to better myself and my career. Before she passed away she made me promise her I would get my Real Estate license. Although, she was not here to celebrate my accomplishment I know she is proud of me for keeping my promise.
I completed my 40-hour Pre-License course online but never moved forward to get my license. After a while of taking some time off after having my daughter in January 2024 I knew this is what I wanted to do. In June I signed up for a in-person 40-hour Pre-License course and got my certificate. In September I passed my MI Real Estate Exam and it was the most rewarding time for me to know that I could, and I did!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I help people secure their new home and help them sell their home as they are ready to continue to the next stages of their lives. I enjoy working with people that are at different stages in life and helping them with the biggest transactions they will make. Although, I have a lot of experience in Property Management I wanted to grow in my career and do what I love which is Real Estate. With every client I work with I always make sure they know they can put trust, faith, and confidence in me. My goal is to always give my clients a better outcome than they wanted.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My biggest support has been my family, without them I would not be where I am today in my career. They have been encouraging me to really dive into Real Estate since I started in Property Management. They saw my love and passion for helping people since the beginning. From my Aunt watching my kids during classes to my Dad helping me set up for my first open house, the support has been overwhelming from all of my family, friends and even people I briefly talk to.
