Hi Jo, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Got started making chocolates in my home as a hobby for Holidays. Then for people at work. This started my shipping line of the business and store front.
Being in the store front allowed me to get better with my skills and become a chocolatier. Changing from using inferior chocolate products to Belgium and Swiss chocolate. Creating my own recipes and learning the art of artesian chocolates.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve had many struggles along the way. In the beginning I offered baked goods with some chocolates. I realized the shop was turning into a bakery which taking over of my goals. We had to put a stop on the baked goods. This became a challenge because we had already had a large volume of customers.

JoJo’s is a hand made premium chocolate shop.
Our caramel & Tortoises (trade name turtles) are what started the business.
Later, I learned how to make Bonbons. Bonbons are small however, they don’t disappoint in flavor and beauty.
We make chocolate Bars, rolled caramels many other treats.
We take pride in letting you pick what you want in your box of chocolates.
We ship in cool months.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Our plan is having expand to a 10,000 square foot building for making our chocolates and shipping all over the country.
