Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Dulong

Hi Erin, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started out, just bored while my husband was working on our house. I ran to Hobby Lobby and decided, okay I think I’ll make some candles. My name came from our house, which was built in 1894, and I chose to do craft company because I didn’t want to be tied down to just candles. In the last 2 and a half years, I have added so many more products to my line.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth road, and I am okay with that. In business, nothing should ever really be “easy”. I have struggled the most with my brand identity and all types of decision making.

As you know, we’re big fans of 1894 Craft Co. LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I mainly specialize in candles and all things wax. I took a jump, adding more products to our collection, making our business stand out among others in our field. We have now started offering candle making classes & products to make everywhere smell good! I am proud of our brand for keeping things fairly simple and coming this far in the last 2 & a half years.

What matters most to you? Why?
Our customers are what means the world to us! They are the main reason that we keep going everyday. Without them, we would not be able to offer nearly as many products as we do today. Every single one of them has helped us decide what matters most and we want to deliver everything we can to keep them all satisfied.
