Today we’d like to introduce you to David & Elie Alam.
Hi David & Elie, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
We both grew up infatuated with cars, from playing video games to seeing cars on the road or our dad being in the industry itself. We decided we wanted to take part in the automotive community and realized starting a detailing company would be the best way to do so. We started in the summer of 2022 and have only grown since. I took a gap year to get the business off the ground and learn more about business in itself. Our goal is to scale to a worldwide brand eventually and dive into more subsections of the automotive industry. We constantly brainstorm ways to reach more people, whether they like our message and brand or want to become a client. We are looking to move into a new shop to really scale our presence and get our name out there; we are hiring other highly motivated individuals to grow with our company. Our social media presence is growing very well at the moment; we are trying to reach more clients and business owners in order to grow our brand in all different aspects. We always strive for the best quality service for all of our clients, and our reviews and rapport show that.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In a way, yes, we have definitely grown a lot since the beginning, but it has not been exponential. We opened in the summer of 2022 and that meant we went through our first winter with the company. It was not easy to get clients during that time of the year; we did get clients here and there, but our presence was not large enough to get potential clients to see the value in our services. That made us pivot and get into buying and selling cars to further our business. It also put pressure on us to learn all the aspects of marketing and how to grow our overall presence in our area. We have built up our rapport to a very solid point now, but we have a lot of work to do still. The summer of 2023 was amazing for us. It was the busiest few months of our company’s life, and that gave us a ton of motivation to push our company even further. We are now in the process of partnering with a big company in the industry to further grow our presence, trustworthiness, and company more.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are the fastest-growing detail company in the area and for good reason. We offer all forms of services from a basic interior all the way up to a paint correction and ceramic coating. We have a genuine passion for detailing and treat all of our clients’ cars like they are ours. We build long-lasting relationships with all of our clients; we don’t look at our clients like 1-time customers. We offer top-of-the-line services with top-tier deals all year long for our previous clients so when they get another detail, they get taken care of for the best price possible. We are always growing; we learn new techniques, new products, and new services that are at the top of the industry and provide them at the highest possible level. We are both young entrepreneurs that want our company to be notorious for the best service for our clients and their vehicles. No matter if it is a daily driver or a supercar, we treat every client the same; top-of-the-line detailing services are always provided here.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is a broad term, honestly; it can be paired with time, money, and relationships. One huge part of success is being able to have freedom of time, where we can be able to go out and grow our company in other parts of the state or country while our company can thrive and operate with our employees. Having the freedom to spend quality time with each of our girlfriends, our friends, and our family is huge for us. Being able to live our lives the way we have always dreamed of is literally a dream come true; we have our own shop, and we are reinvesting our money into our business to further push it the next few years. Getting to the point of “we made it” honestly isn’t set in stone yet. We are constantly growing with our ideas and our vision; we definitely know we want an amazing shop in the future and grow multiple brands within the automotive space along with some other companies that are in the works out of the automotive space. It all boils down to us being happy daily and having the power to grow our company and ourselves daily.
