Exploring Life & Business with Christin Peeples of Bossupculture

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christin Peeples. Them and their team share their story with us below:

The story behind Boss Up Culture Org is the epitome of turning personal pain into fueled passion to help others. Founder Christin Peeples hated going to work for many years due to being a target of workplace bullying abuse, and mobbing. This type of abuse is defined as a persistent pattern of mistreatment from others in the workplace (often from individuals in the position of power) that causes either physical or emotional harm. It can include such tactics as verbal, nonverbal, psychological, and physical abuse, as well as humiliation. Having endured such a toxic work environment for almost a decade, Christin’s mental and physical health was greatly impacted caused by the constant fear of losing her employment after almost 20 years of loyal and dedicated service. Having reached the lowest of lows, Christin was determined to not only save herself, but others experiencing such pain and terror in the workplace. Once she realized that fear is an illusion, cloched in false evidence appearing real she became unstoppable. Finally standing up for herself and determined to make a way for other targets, she founded her 501c3 Charitable Organization – Boss Up Culture Org. Boss Up Culture Org provides funding for targets who don’t have access to mental healthcare; has a YouTube Channel with a library of videos dedicated to help targets navigate a toxic work environment; And provides valuable resources on the site from Mental Health Professionals to Employment Attorney’s to Opportunities for New Employment. Boss Up Culture Org also offers 1 on 1 Coaching, Consulting Services for Employers, Speaking Engagements, Boss Up Culture Org Merch and so much more! Christin has always been an entrepreneur at heart. And helping others has always been at the center of every one of her business models. Having completely transformed her life and transitioning from her corporate career, Christin has tapped into a rewarding fountain of success with her Non-Profit Organization and Real Estate Career (a passion of she had previously been doing for over 16 years as a side business). Christin encourages others to “learn the lesson” and move forward into their greatness just as she has. She reminds targets of workplace bullying abuse to “Never allow anyone to dim your light…Stand in your power & SHINE RELENTLESSLY”.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey wasn’t the “yellow brick road” for me by any means. It included me having to dig deep, face my fears and believe in myself again. In my self-love journey, I realized that it took a long time to be conditioned into thinking I was unworthy and amongst the hopeless. I’m so grateful to have regained my self-esteem and true potential by essentially “de-programing” myself, thinking positively again, and no longer allowing people and circumstances have so much control over my life. Just like the lesson in “The Wizard of Oz”, I had the power all along to be, do, and experience great things.
