Hi Charles & Lynn, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers. 
We initially started as a lingerie company. We wanted to explore building a clothing brand, and here we are today. We have collaborations with Adidas, Champion, and Columbia. Our brand is sold on our direct site, after pay, and Walmart.com 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, this has not been a smooth road. We are still struggling to get our brand seen by a larger audience. Trying to convince people that our products are worth the money, trying to make our products stand out amongst the competition. Marketing has also been a challenge. 

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My Tackie Tees, LLC is a family-owned Detroit-based clothing brand. We have an obsession for style from childhood and capturing the culture of the city of Detroit. We are known for our specialty embroidered t-shirts with the saying DSB (Detroit Steady Boomin), DT (Detroit Thick), our Signature line, etc. The quality of our clothing sets us apart from the competition. The growth of our brand is what we are most proud of. We have expanded our catalog to include additional items.

Just start. Whatever you do in life, you always win as long as you keep going. Have the vision and execute. Everything you do in life, you learn as you go along, so this entire journey has been a learning process.
