Becker’s Bridal started back in 1934 when the first wedding dress was sold. It quickly became the “go-to” place for wedding garments and has evolved to be one of the oldest family-run bridal shops with one of the largest inventories in the United States.

Becker’s Bridal is now four storefronts wide, 15 thousand square feet, 16 dressing rooms, two specially lit 360º viewing rooms, including the famed “Magic Room,” The Phoenix Bridal Celebratory Lounge, and the newest addition- a special LUXE bridal shopping division catering to couture bridal looks, located within the Flagship!

Brides travel far and wide to visit this historic shopping destination, located in the humble village of Fowler, MI, where the Flagship remains in the original building.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Becker’s Bridal is now in its 90th year of business, so there have been plenty of opportunities for obstacles, but the business continues to endure thanks to a wide community of Becker’s Brides who continually recommend and support the business for their friends, family, and children.

The success of the business is also a reflection of the flexibility, adaptability, and savviness of the owners, Shelley Mueller, her daughter, Alyssa Pung, and her spouse, Cory Pung, to navigate societal obstacles and bride’s shopping preferences, such as the most recent covid pandemic.

Despite any challenges, the goal is to provide the absolute best shopping experience for brides while visiting in-store.

Becker’s Bridal is one of the nation’s oldest family-owned and operated bridal shops, including an impressive 2,500+ gown inventory, a celebrated “Magic Room” which was the subject of a New York Times Best Selling novel, The Magic Room, a first-of-its-kind Bridal Celebration Lounge: The Phoenix, and the newest development to the Flagship location: The LUXE room, which offers a private bridal en suite, a collection of high-end couture bridal gowns, and a curated luxury bridal shopping experience.

Becker’s Bridal is known as “THE” place to find your dream wedding dress. Brides travel from all corners of Michigan and beyond to find their gowns and work with trained Becker’s Bridal staff.
