Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrianna Czyzewski
Hi Adrianna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As we all know Covid-19 has changed lots of lives at a very rapid pace. I was first furloughed, then got let go from my job, and with not much holding me back, my husband and I decided it’s time to explore the country. We rented a mini van with my brother in law and his girlfriend and we started our adventure. We created so much content and started posting. Couple years later, we have a great following on our page and are doing what we love on our spare time as content creators. We both work full time, but that never stopped us from exploring the world. Our goal is to show others that you do not have to be a a full time blogger or influencer to experience this kind of adventure; it’s attainable to everyone as long as you set your mind on it!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I am not best at getting rejected (show me who is! LOL). So when it comes to pitching tourism boards to work with us, sometimes we send out several emails and we get zero responses. BUT that’s okay! I learned with time that it’s impossible for everyone find your work exactly what they are looking for. Our 2024 started off very slow, we thought getting any gig would be impossible, but it turned out to be the best year we had so far! As cliche as it may sound, you cannot give up: sometimes things work in a bizarre way, but in the end you are exactly where you should be.
As you know, we’re big fans of MappingOurTracks. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a married couple from Chicago that absolutely loves to travel! We are here to show others that having a full time job should not be an obstacle in any way, in order to enjoy travel. There are many destinations which you can explore over a weekend, even sometimes by just jumping in the car. As long as you set your mind to it and you organize your time effectively, there shouldn’t be anything stopping you!
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I always traveled as a child whether that was France, Hungary, or Italy. When I was 2 years old, my parents would grab a stroller, a blow up mattress and they made it work! I appreciate that so much and that they didn’t see me as an obstacle in their lives and brought me everywhere. Because of that, I believe I have grown loving exploring the world and pulling my husband into it as well. Now, he loves it even more than me!
