Daily Inspiration: Meet Tiarrah Sova

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiarrah Sova.

Hi Tiarrah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I decided to enlist in the Marine Corps while in high school. The same day I graduated high school; I went off the USMC. I am a Sgt, E-5 Motor T Operator. I served 4 years active, 4 years inactive. While finishing my 4th year at Camp Pendleton, California, I started mentoring under a photographer living out there! Once I moved back home, I dedicated myself to fix my fitness goals and became a manager and a personal trainer for anytime fitness in Romeo. But once I realize how drawn I was with photography, I knew I had to give full-time a try. It was a struggle during my first winter as I am sure is like that for all, but I made it and I am blessed to continue to grow in this field.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The learning process was extremely hard for me at first. But if I am determined to learn something, no matter how hard, I will. Once I got some mentoring and kept practicing, the rest started following. My biggest struggle was winter because my boudoir clientele wasn’t as built at that point!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Deluxe Travel Wedding, Elopement, and Boudoir Photographer! I travel all over the country and soon hopefully everywhere, but I am located out of Michigan! I am extremely proud of my work and how far I’ve come but also that I stuck with this career and truly found my passion and place in life.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I body-build 6 days a week, I’m a United States Marine Veteran, I take singing and guitar lessons weekly, I can juggle, ride a unicycle, and have two cats, one being an exotic short hair!
