Daily Inspiration: Meet Ryan Harig

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Harig.  

Hi Ryan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Grand Rapids born, Grandville high school, navy vet. 

I started podcasting in 2014 and haven’t stopped yet! Love exploring the world and learning about it. History is my main focus, whether it be about art that I love or the world around me. It’s fun to explore, and between the internet, reading, and podcasting there’s a wealth to find and discover and cover. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It’s all a learning experience. I know what to avoid and where my strengths are, but it does take time to build an audience and a consistency of a solid product. 

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a mailman by day, but what I’m really at the end of it all is a father. Being a dad is the most important job I have, and I hope that by being so, I can have three incredible adults to look forward to growing with and knowing for the rest of my life. 

How do you define success?
A smile is success. Being with my friends and laughing is success. Life’s too short to worry about what-ifs. “Comparison is the death of joy.”- Teddy Roosevelt.
