Liv, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey started in the beauty and skincare industry where I became a dual licensed Esthetician and Cosmetologist in Michigan. I have 9 years of combined experience in the spa and aesthetics industry, my passion has always been skincare. Early on, I was drawn not just to treatments themselves, but to how skin health connects to overall confidence, lifestyle, and wellness. I’ve also always had an entrepreneurial spirit, which naturally shaped the direction of my career.
I spent several years working in day spa and med spa environments, where I gained hands-on experience with an array of product lines and advanced treatments. Ingredient integrity, simplicity, and truly skin-supportive formulations is very important to me. That’s what ultimately led me to create GOAP.
Meet GOAP ~ an Esthetician formulated luxurious goat milk soap using clean ingredients creates a rich, creamy lather to hydrate, heal, and nourish the skin. Featuring a natural sea sponge for gentle exfoliation, revealing smoother, softer skin with every use. Our customers love its luxurious feel and premium quality. Lightly scented for a subtle, non-overpowering aroma.
I wanted to build something that reflected what I believe in as an esthetician: gentle but effective skincare rooted in nourishment and barrier support, while also creating a little luxury for your daily routine. GOAP is designed to offer soft exfoliation and radiant skin, with a rich, nourishing lather that elevates your everyday experience. The goat milk soap concept came from my passion for calming, restorative skincare, and it evolved into combining it with natural sea sponges for a unique, functional cleansing and exfoliating experience.
Since launching, it’s been incredibly rewarding to see GOAP grow into retail spaces including boutiques, gift shops, medspas, and day spas. I’m focused on continuing to grow GOAP thoughtfully, expanding into more retail locations, building strong relationships with spa partners, and staying true to the original intention behind it: simple, effective, skin-loving care.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
