Daily Inspiration: Meet Katie Jackel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katie Jackel. 

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Life is all about change and rolling with the changes! After living in 10 states and having multiple part-time careers (lawyer then nurse) while raising six children, I spent three years looking for the right business to start. And I decided to bring Clozetivity to Michigan after discovering that their storage and organization solutions are more affordable than competitors. I did this to help busy, multi-tasking Moms and families. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I had no idea how much time, energy (and money) it takes to start a successful business! I quickly figured out that business owners wear many hats each day, which was a big change from being in the healthcare field for 14 years. But if you believe in the business model and in yourself and ask for help when you don’t have the answers, you can succeed at anything! 

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am most proud of being a mom to six kids and four pets and juggling all that busy Moms juggle. Clozetivity provides custom closets at affordable prices, and we are the first Clozetivity in Michigan. We currently serve all of southeast Michigan. What sets us apart from the competition is simplicity and price while using high-quality materials.
