Today we’d like to introduce you to Catrinia Kubur, Angelina Kretz, and Bob Tapp.
Catrinia, Angelina, and Bob, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
The Energy Apostles — Angelina Kretz, Catrinia “Trinia” Kubur, and Bob Tapp— were brought together by divine alignment during Reiki training in February this past year. What began as a chance meeting quickly revealed itself as destiny. A powerful energetic bond formed, one that transcended coincidence and awakened a shared purpose: to bring healing, harmony, and awakening to others through energy and sound.
Each of us carries unique spiritual gifts— channeling Reiki, sacred sound, and divine messages from higher realms. Yet when our energies unite, something extraordinary emerges: a symphony of frequencies that opens hearts, balances the body, and elevates the spirit.
Guided by intuition, light, and love, we formed The Energy Apostles — a sacred collective devoted to awakening consciousness and spreading healing energy throughout the world. Together, we hold space for transformation, unity, and the remembrance that we are all connected through vibration and divine source energy.
* Angelina found sound therapy as part of her healing journey from PTSD. She found it to be the first modality which enabled true relaxation that lasted, and really leveraged it as a complementary approach to formal EMDR therapy. Even her therapist was excited to hear that she had plans to attend a sound bath on therapy integration days. Having experienced such benefits, and always being drawn to music as a sanctuary, Angelina became a student of The Sound Healing Academy. Recognizing that it wasn’t just the sound, but the “magic” of the frequencies that created the peace she longed for, led Angelina to learn Reiki. Who knew this series of events would lead to the relationship with Catrinia and Bob? Only the divine. We are a diverse, loving collection of souls with talents that we want to share with all humans in need. We are, The Energy Apostles.
*Catrinia “Trinia” Kubur, originally from Oberlin, Ohio, a Registered Nurse with a lifelong memory of choosing her parents with a guide and a council of light—a moment that shaped her path as a healer.
Her nursing career, especially in mental health, taught her the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. Living in Shanghai introduced her to Traditional Chinese Medicine, and later, her years in León, Mexico deepened her relationship with holistic healing, spirituality, and nature’s wisdom.
Soon after returning to her home in West Bloomfield, MI, one word came through clearly: Reiki.
Soon after, she met Angelina and Bob during their Usui/ Holy Fire III®️ Reiki Ryoho, First & Second Degree Reiki training. An unshakeable bond was formed. Then, they continued to complete our Usui/ Holy Fire III®️ Karuna Reiki Master training. Their attunements and ignitions were powerful, aligned, and divinely guided—sparking the beginning of The Energy Apostles.
I’m Bob Tapp. One of my earliest memories is from when I was three years old, living in Seattle. I used to sleepwalk, and one morning I found myself sitting on our front porch, staring at the mountain we used to sled down—nearly half a mile away. I remember wishing I could be up there. In the next moment, I was on top of the mountain, sitting beside an elderly man I had never seen before. We talked until I saw my father on the porch below, shouting my name. I told the man I was in trouble—and instantly I was back on the porch.
Nature called to me from the beginning. My parents could hardly keep up with me as I wandered trails and climbed through the mountains.
When we moved to Michigan, our non-working farm became my sanctuary—horses, a creek running through the land, and twenty acres of woods behind our home. I lived in those woods, whether with friends or completely alone.
At fourteen, a storm rolled in faster than we expected. A friend and I raced home, but a massive branch fell and pinned me to the ground. My friend kept running, unaware. I couldn’t move—until a ten-foot green orb appeared. It lifted the branch off me and then picked me up. Inside the orb, everything was quiet, warm, and peaceful. It carried me through the woods, the trees bending away from its path, and set me down about fifty feet from my parents. My legs didn’t work for three days, yet there wasn’t a single scratch on me. On the third day, I stood up and ran as if nothing had happened.
Around this age, I began noticing something else—I could conjure energy within myself. And I had always felt a deep, natural connection to God, as if I was born with it.
Life moved on, but my connection to animals and people remained constant. At forty-four, my wife was suffering from intense back pain. Without thinking, I placed my hand on her back, summoned that familiar energy, and pushed it into her. Her pain disappeared instantly. She introduced me to the concept of universal energy, and suddenly everything I had experienced throughout my life made sense.
From there, I began receiving intuitive messages prompting me to help people around me.
• A coworker’s chronic back pain healed instantly.
• My sister’s leg, covered in blisters, improved after I worked with her energy.
• My best friend was scheduled for shoulder surgery—unable to lift his arm. After I worked on him, he removed his sling and moved his arm without pain. His doctor told him, “Whatever you did, it’s fixed.”
When I retired, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I began formal Reiki training with Catrinia and Angelina, and from that training came a bond—and ultimately, The Energy Apostles.
Helping people with our gifts has become our authentic purpose. We live in gratitude, happiness, and deep thankfulness for this path. The spiritual moments we’ve shared are countless—and each one reinforces why we’re here.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road for The Energy Apostles has been both challenging and beautifully guided. Sharing the message about the power of Reiki and sound healing in a world that moves so quickly has required patience, courage, and unwavering faith in our purpose.
We know these practices can relax the body, calm the mind, ground the spirit, and help people return to their true center. They reconnect a person to who they really are beneath the stress, noise, and responsibilities of everyday life—allowing them to rise into the very best version of themselves.
Even when the journey has felt uphill, every person we’ve touched, every moment of healing we’ve witnessed, has reminded us why we continue. This work is our calling. Our mission is clear:
to bring accessible, heart-centered healing to our community and uplift every soul ready to receive.
The challenges we face stem along the lines of energy healing not being mainstream. But here again, our diversity bridges this obstacle. Trinia – a registered nurse, specializing in mental health, Bob, a retired engineering supervisor, and Angelina, an engineer, with masters degrees in business and, ironcially Energy Systems Engineering. We hope to serve as inspiration from those who are on the cusp of accepting these modalities as “woo-woo” to “Woo-Hoo!!” And each person, each experience, takes us one step closer on reaching those in need, even when the mainstream system might counter our efforts.

The Energy Apostles: Raising the Frequency of Love We believe in a world where every being resonates at the highest frequency of unconditional love. Our signature offering, “A Sacred Symphony,” is the vessel through which we nurture this vision.
In this group experience, participants are invited to simply rest and receive—settling into zero gravity chairs, yoga mats, or any supportive space that allows the body to surrender. Together, we begin with intention setting, aligning the collective and the individual heart.
As crystal and Himalayan bowls weave their melodies, the room drifts into the Theta state—where deep relaxation and healing unfold. In this sacred space, Bob channels the river of life through Reiki, Trinia connects with spirit guides to share visions and messages, and Angelina bathes the room in lullabies of sound and mantra.
The evening culminates in a shared state of bliss—a moment of heaven on earth, where strangers become kin through resonance.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
We experience and uncover surprises on a daily basis, which lead us to believe that we are truly meant to be combined to serve a higher good. I think the greatest surprise, which most people could relate to, is that three unique individuals, spanning 20 years in age difference, with different social, political, and religious views could form such a bond through this shared combined purpose. None of us have ever experienced the development of such deep relationships as adults, let alone a relationship that stemmed from being signed up for the same Reiki class. The love we’ve formed for each other, given our diversity, shows that the world can love each other in this way too! We hope to be an example of the unity consciousness that will one day be available for all of mankind.
Pricing:
- Our Sacred Symphony is about $30 per participant. But we find ways to not turn anyone away from the experience, financial need should not prevent a human from experiencing this modality.
- Individual healing sessions for one hour are priced at $150. Again, we do not turn anyone away, and pursue creative means to support those requesting the support of our offerrings.
- Corporate sessions (for up to 20 people) are $350 for a 90 minute session which provides individual Reiki attention for each participant.
- Corporate sessions which include “roaming” Reiki, can be completed in 45 minutes for $200
