Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Cottrell.
Hi Cameron, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I started acting 6 years ago as an extra, I never even thought about acting I only did it to help out a friend, but the director end up liking me and wrote me in as a character and the rest is history. I started taking acting serious taking classes and started booking roles. I am also a cancer survivor, I had cancer as kid at the age of 11yrs and I have been cured since then and now I team up with the leukemia lymphoma society. I am also a brand ambassador for a clothing company called “STONE JUNGLE APPAREL” headphones “LEGENDARY MUSIC VISUAL”. I wake up every day and grind grind. I also started modeling, print model & runway model
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
One of my struggles I had, was when I tore my Achilles at a charity basketball game, I missed out on a couple movie roles but that didn’t stop me, I was still doing photoshoot’s and eventually, I found some other movie roles with my boot on and being on crutches. Other obstacles are having a day job time is everything and I do miss out on getting a few lead roles because of my day job
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an actor, model, and director I am known for some movies in Michigan. Child support, price of love, street code broken, Asbury Park, code of thieves, and a few others
