Conversations with Robin Dibble

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robin Dibble

Hi Robin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Robin received her BA degree from Indiana University in Psychology. She spent 10
years working with youth through the Archdiocese of Louisville and Indianapolis.
She loved working with youth and young adults and as a Team Course Facilitator at Mount Saint
Francis in Indiana.
She completed a SpiritualDirection program with the Sycamore group and has spent
several years working with clients as a Spiritual Companion with youth and adults.

In 2007, she began her journey in Reiki through the Sisters of Saint Benedict at the monastery, Immaculate Conception, in Ferdinand, Indiana.

She has spent the last 12 years in healthcare as an Assistive Technology Professional, working in seating.
In 2022, she
completed the Embodiment Teacher Training, Non-linear Movement Method (somatic
therapy)course with Michaela Boehm.

Robin’s empathetic nature, and creating a space of healing has
brought her wanting to share Reiki with clients. She also enjoys incorporating, tuning forks, and crystals in the healing space.
She believes it is key to
have a balance between mind, body and spirit.
Robin loves her family, dog &, making vintage jewelry, painting, and giving Tarot readings.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Having children at a young age, experiencing divorce and then going back to college was a challenge. Growing up in an alcoholic home and struggles as a young person has allowed for a deep understanding, compassion and empathy for others. (especially young people) Developing an open mind, and ability to forgive have been a huge take away. Self work and supporting others on their journey has been a big part of her awakening.

Everyone desires to be heard and loved. Robin feels it’s important to create a sacred space and an opportunity to lift others. For her it’s about personal growth, looking in the mirror. Our spiritual self can get so lost, our bodies and how we balance our vibration; clearing out low energy and negativity is such a big deal. Being disciplined to create time for this on a daily basis.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Professionally, Robin has worked as a seating specialist ( ATP) and has worked with people who have neurological and myopathic disorders. Working with adults and pediatrics puts her in people’s lives and helps them get the medical equipment they need. Working in Corporate America can be a challenge and being someone who genuinely wants to help; and showing up with compassion is not always the most popular. Robin does not view this as just a job. She has always been a creative person and since the Covid period she returned back to painting. She has also been working on writing a memoir as well as making vintage jewelry. Through this, she has decided to get back into and providing Reiki not just for family members, but for the public. The last couple summers she has participated in festivals and events selling jewelry, and providing Reiki. Robin tends to walk to the beat of her own own drum. Not just in her appearance, but in attitude. Being forthcoming, seeing the silver lining and bringing humor to just about every situation! She often refers to stories as ” Robin’s World” ha!

How do you think about luck?
With providing Reiki, it has been a challenge finding a location. Robin was able to team up with a wellness center and provide Reiki at this location and recently just opened a new location closer to where she lives.

So many people tend to not make mental health or their holistic health a priority. She thinks it goes without saying there are a lot of changes going on in our world right now and realizing spirituality and seeing our world in the fifth dimension( not just physical) is on the rise!

Many people see Reiki as a “Woohoo” or against their religion. They seem to not want to experience this healing technique. Robin enjoys teaching about our body, energy and how everything we encounter can affect us and we really can be in more control of our surroundings and/or how we process what we encounter. It has very little to do with religion, and who we are on the outside. We really are all one..beginning on the inside.

It has been a challenge growing her Reiki service. She believes alternative healthcare is on the rise, the more people experience it, the more they will see the benefit. She recently has learned more about tuning forks and how this pairs with Reiki as well as using crystals. The sounds and vibration of the forks help resonate with the body and create a relaxing healing expereince. Robin is also excited to learn more about Quantum- Touch and bring that to her practice. She has traveled to Europe, Peru and New Zealand recently. Meeting people and sharing herself and energy allows her to grow! She never meets a stranger. Robin believes if you feel strongly about something and focus on the greater good, then things will begin to unfold, and your path will become more clear. She has created her webpage, Peaceneed.com and continues to move on her path and see what Spirit has instore for her. We are all hungry for peace.
Onward and upward!
