Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Packer.
Hi Kimberly, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
For years, I’ve had the desire to help women heal from the effects of their past mental/emotional trauma. I went through and was healed from so much, and I believe my calling is to show other women they don’t have to “walk wounded”. I believe my journey is to be an open book for others to read and know healing is possible.
I obtained a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling, became a licensed and ordained Minister, received certification as a Color Code Personality Trainer, and became a certified Life Coach with an emphasis on mindset shifting.
I started off facilitating small group discussions on inner healing, which turned into weekly livestreams, teaching the 10 steps to getting mentally and emotionally detoxed (which eventually developed into two programs called FLOW10® Mind Detox & FLOW10® Emotional Detox). I also began hosting quarterly “Grace Parties” where the invitation list was Divinely inspired. We would talk about topics such as “Soul Ties”, “Childhood Hurts”, and “Daddy/Mommy Issues”.
After a few years, I crossed paths with Jaime Washington who convinced me it was time to tell my story. From that conversation, I ended up being a contributing author in an anthology (“W.O.W.”) she was putting together and publishing my first solo book “Conflicted Heart” in the same year. Since then, I’ve been a contributing author in three more anthologies (“Finish Strong”, “Destined to Win”, and “Have We Met?”) as well as the “Mind Detox Guide”.
Currently, I’m helping others write their story as a Manuscript Coach and helping others obtain mental and emotional freedom through my FLOW10® programs and services.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The path has not always been smooth.
Personally, I’ve experienced domestic violence and raised two sons without their father. For the last ten years, I have had the privilege to serve/care for my parents as they have battled and still battle with chronic illnesses. I’m also the mother of a U.S. Soldier who fights for our country (which pulls on my heartstrings the most).
In business, I have tried numerous things that didn’t work, and I’ve spent tens of thousands on coaching that ended up being all “fluff” before finding what works for me. Juggling a 9 to 5 and building a business and ministry was the biggest of challenges because I had to learn how to balance it all, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I recently retired from the Federal Courts after 30 years of service. For 24 of the 30 years, I assisted with contracting, treatment plans/invoicing and solely ran the drug lab (conducted urinalysis, conducted officer trainings, as well as wrote in-house policy and procedures) for the Eastern District of Michigan.
I started the FLOW Network Connection in 2014, to help women spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and financially. Other women partnered with me to help with this mission (conferences, webinars, small groups).
In 2015, the Mind Detox Program was birthed, I became a certified Color Code Personality Trainer and became a Certified Life Coach.
In 2018, the Emotional Detox Program was created.
In 2019, I became a published author twice.
In 2021, I received the FLOW10® trademark and published in two anthologies.
In February 2022, FLOW Network Connection, LLC published the Have We Met? anthology.
What does success mean to you?
Success is when you know you’re living the life you were created to live in service to the people you were created to serve.
