Today we’d like to introduce you to Khayree Beckem.
Hi Khayree, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Khayree Beckem is an influential leader dedicated to developing and empowering the total man—mentally, spiritually, financially, and socially. He has served in leadership and management roles for over 15 years and has been a passionate preacher and teacher of truth for more than 19 years.
A strong advocate for education and lifelong learning, Khayree attended Grace Bible University, where he studied Business Administration and Ministry Leadership. He later furthered his education at Spring Arbor University, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance.
Drawing from years of research, empirical data, practical leadership experience, and academic study, Khayree Beckem has established himself as an author and thought leader. He is the self-published author of two books: Alpha Diaries: The Keys To Being A Self-Sufficient Man, And A Leader Within A Relationship and Why She Left You. Through his writing, teaching, and public platform, Khayree seeks to equip individuals with the knowledge, wisdom, and tools necessary to achieve personal growth, leadership excellence, and lasting success.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Throughout my life, I have faced numerous challenges and obstacles that have shaped my character, resilience, and determination. During my college years, particularly while pursuing my MBA, I often worked between 60 and 70 hours per week. Balancing demanding work schedules, academic excellence, family responsibilities, and maintaining a position on the honors list required tremendous discipline, sacrifice, and time management.
However, one of the greatest challenges I have ever endured was the loss of my mother, Linda Beckem, on September 1, 2011. Experiencing such a profound loss at an early stage in my life impacted me deeply. There is truly nothing comparable to a mother’s love, guidance, and support.
The loss challenged me both spiritually and emotionally. I wrestled with questions of “why” and struggled with feelings that the situation was unfair, especially knowing that my mother embodied the very essence of motherhood. Her love, strength, and selflessness left an indelible mark on my life. Although the pain of losing her never fully disappears, the experience strengthened my faith, deepened my perspective on life, and inspired me to persevere through adversity with purpose and gratitude.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I currently serve in a management role at General Motors, where I am responsible for leading and overseeing the Metal Finish Team. In addition to my corporate leadership responsibilities, I am the founder and owner of Alpha K Brand, an urban apparel company dedicated to promoting confidence, individuality, and self-expression. Among my proudest professional accomplishments is becoming a self-published author. Through my writing, I seek to inspire personal growth, leadership development, and relationship awareness.
What distinguishes me from many others is my ability to inspire and motivate people to reach their full potential.
